Bama schedule is no easier than Florida's. We played almost the same SEC opponents, except, oh yeah, Bama beat Ole Miss. Clemson was supposed to be the class of the SEC. Not Bamas fault Clemson never rebounded from that ass whipping we gave them. Georgia, pre-season Number 1. Tennessee was supposed to be the best in the East and defending national champions LSU. All these games were played on the road. Auburn was picked to win the West. Bama scheduled the teams, not Bamas fault they all sucked!
Bama also had Western Kentucky, Arkansas State and Tulane out of conference. Gators did have Citadel, but the other three were Florida State, Miami, Hawaii(undefeated in 2007-major bowl appearance) You are right, they had 5 common opponents in the SEC. In my opinion there schedules were a wash. Bring it on Saturday, should be a good one.
