This was one of my favorite movies of all time. I highly disagree with you on your whole review. The Mike Myers cameo was not distracting at all. Brad Pitt didn't say the line about scotch. That was Micheal Fassbender. Maybe you need to see a film more than once before you write it off.

Yeah I'm not sure I agree with the reviewer's comments.... I think some people are erroneously having trouble justifying the 'playful' tone of the film with the subject matter; but that doesn't mean it's a flaw. Check out my review at 'Gab and Dad'!

It wasn't Pitt's character, it was Lt. Hicox, the English film critic sent to the tavern with Stiglitz and the other Basterd to meet Hammersmark.
