can you help me..... my dog scrapes his feet everytime he does a pee and its destroying my lawn . Do you have any tips on how i can stop him doing this ?
So this lady basically just said in order to keep my dog from digging, don't let the dog go to the digging area. You just told me to not let my dog outside.
why would the dog ONLY dig in the pit? I havnt tried the idea, but it seems like it would encourage digging. I thought mine dig cause of the heat, i purchased them those mesh beds that are elevated and located in the shade and they didnt seem to make a difference. the only thing I have seen to help, which i found out by accident, is by letting my lawn get obnoxiously long, about a foot deep... maybe ill leave a section long and see if that curbs the digging.
I've sent you a video of Theo. We let him have a special place in our garden & he loves it. It's dirt but we prefer him on a defined patch rather than digging in our vegie patch & flower beds etc.

@LuvMyGr8DaneGuinness if you need to be told, your not suppose to have a 150lb great dane indoors, you shouldn't have a dog
