WATER!!!!! the moon creates the ocean tides because of H2O,the human body is mainly water so the moon effects the body,,,BTW KoH Pahngan is bomb check out full moon party b4 you get too old..hahaha...shroom shroom shroom n shake ya butt
Wow, these people are so dumb I don't even know where to begin. Are we going to avoid thousands of years of anecdotal claims and disregard that 9 out of 10 nurses and doctors might believe in this? Yes. The same way we'll ignore thousands of years of Greek mythology and the fact that 99% of ancient Greeks believed in their gods. Also, correlation =/= causation. It's possible that people act up because theyre superstitious. This doesn't prove any supernatural association.
How on earth can the moon affect peoples brains when its full? the moon is still there whatever the phase of the moon. the tides dont stop when theres a new moon do they.
I work in an aged care facility, and many of the shifts i work are with dementia residents. You may be surprised to hear that every night that I work when there is a full moon, the resident's become very increasingly aggressive & act outside of their normal behaviours.
You can't possibly say statements such as "this is bullshit" & "nonsense" if you havn't been in a situation to notice it, such as the ER department in the clip or my own observations at work. Think bout it..
@girlsoldier Have you recorded down every account where the residents became that way? Maybe they get that way more times when there isn't a full moon then when there is, and your brain just focuses on the days they act up when there is a full moon. They act up regardless so the chances of them doing it during every full moon I don't think it's to much to say, it's a coincidence. You see what you want to see out of a situation.
You know why there is more crime during a full moon, because there is more light, people can see what they are doing. To think there is anything more to it than that is stuuuuupid.
Mmm, yeah, that's what my first thought was. The people shown were mostly young, partygoers, and they looked like retards/lunatics anyway. All those guys with smashed faces looked like bogans who can't stay out of trouble. The Moon is pretty inviting, makes people more adventurous at night. To imply that some big rock orbiting the Earth has psychic powers is beyond f#%@ing retarded.
I'm at 2:02 I am already over this nonsense. Oh, perhaps I should call the ambulance now *facepalm* 3 months researching? Then what were you doing dill? I give up.
Well, it's a well-known fact that nearly 50 % of all murders happen within a week before or after full moon...
Amazingly bad. The study was "an observational study of patients with violent and acute behavioural disturbance". Uhm, so because a bunch of people with psychic problems behave differently during a time when common superstition says they should behave differently, we are all influenced by lunar cycles?
@docdcb Except that jumping, going over a bump in your car, sitting, lying down, standing up all have a greater affect on the water in you than the moon possibly could. Simple, innit.
@bastardsheep Woah - careful there! It's almost like you calmly and rationally examined the claims in the vid without reaching some sort of BS knee-jerk reactionary conclusion. :D
That guy is a moron. The moon is associated with gravity, and it's gravity that effects ocean currents and tides which then effect water. The moon doesn't have a direct effect on water. That was the most idiotic thing I've ever heard.

@girlsoldier That's a nice anecdote but anecdotes do not take in to account confirmation bias or properly recorded statistics. Think about it...

So we might have statistical data, but the full moon affecting the water on the brain is just stupid.

Moon causes tides. Tides are made of water. You have water in you.
Therefore the Moon causes you to go mental. Simple, innit.
