  • Ok. I guess we'll just have to disagree on this. Best of luck in your work. Later.

  • Nice video! Nice body!!

  • White Kobe Bryant..

  • @QuickyCourt Get a life!!!! How's that for a response?

  • @QuickyCourt Muscles are built to look good innit..Not to actually use them !

  • ey friend, could you help to the begginners??? could you put videos for us? thank you buddy.....

  • @civitec Check out the annotation that says "for beginners"

  • why dont you squat or flat bench press?

  • Comment removed

  • @ThaGenius101 Back squat: Terrible compression on your lumbar spine. Meatheads will come here and say "bro you have to squat to get big" but in reality you don't. Squatting isn't going to make you have bigger arms or anything and it's bad on your low back. Flat BB press will wreck your shoulders

  • @jimmysmithtraining why don't you wear a belt... oh wait your other video says never to wear a belt in the gym... nvm

  • @jimmysmithtraining Are you kidding me? Squatting, flat bench, deads...large compound mvmts DO increase size and (more importantly) strength. Your body responds to the pressure being put on it by producing the adaptation response that affects your BODY as opposed to these little isolation mvmts that burn important energy. Really curious to see this science that you keep hiding behind.

And on the subject of hiding. I'd be interested in seeing you talk down we 'meatheads' in person.

  • @chadball1973 You obviously have no interest in the science of training. Hormone release is subject to the local trained area. Thus squats don't do anything for your shoulder size..

  • @jimmysmithtraining I have no interest in the science of training? Nice. If I had no interest, I wouldn't be confident enough to make a point in the first place. By your logic, growth hormone would be secreted and then just hang around a specific area? From what I understand, you've researched this (as I have) and you know that GH, free and total test, cortisol, insulin etc are in the blood stream.

  • @jimmysmithtraining I really don't want to become a troll here, I just don't get how somebody who is making a name for himself via PT can suggest that squats are more harmful than helpful. The fact that you don't advise flat bench because you feel it wrecks the shoulder girdle suggests (to me at least) that your form is off. You called Dave Tate a mentor. You should know better.

Take this as constructive criticism. Before you question my knowledge, improve your own.

  • @chadball1973 Listen, I'm all up for a positive discussion but you refuse to see the other, science based side of the story. Facts: A) You can have flawless bench form and it can still harm your shoulders. That can be said for anything but a barbell and the fixed position does do damage. B) Back squats:great for lower body power but way too much spinal compression. Look up McGill's work.

  • @chadball1973 So before you just take the next big guys advice, look at the other side of the coin. Everyone, mostly people who have used substances, will tell you that you have to do squats to get jacked. Why? There's no science to back it up. Might a powerful squatter be huge for various reasons? Yes but mostly because he works HARD not because the squats gave him some huge anabolic boost.

  • @chadball1973 Hormone response is actue and location specific not to mention that the break down and repair and growth of a muscle is a 24-7 cycle.

  • @chadball1973, Yep, things like squatting and dead lifts are something bodybuilders, power lifters, and other athletes tend to make sure to include in their workout. Just one name for example: Keith Wassung.

  • You look like you are an ectomorph man if u are that is great that you have a high amount of muscle. Can you tell me some stats like how much you weigh, bench, squat, deadlift?

  • @REAPER0096 Thanks buddy! Have you joined the facebook fanpage? facebook . com/physiqueformula?

    Stats

    Weight:220

    Bench: Don't flat bench anymore

    Squat;Dont squat anymore

I know it sounds crazy but there's science behind it. Benching and squatting DO NOT make you bigger everywhere regardless of what you read online.

    Deadlifts:375

  • @jimmysmithtraining - I agree re- bench pressing. Great for ripping apart shoulder joints, but there are better options for upper body mass.

  • @jimmysmithtraining You look tiny, how tall are you?

  • @gamers700 I'm bigger then a lot of people. 6'6

  • @jimmysmithtraining No, I mean build wise. I was wondering why you looked so skinny, the height might explain it

  • @gamers700 Ahh I see.

  • looking sweet jimmy! although you couldve cut and dehydrated more before the photoshoot. but i suppose you are natural, so its hard to go below that level. anyways, good job!

  • i notice most male fitness models are tall and have skinny necks and smaller heads.. thats like the opposite of me :'(

  • @mean71cuda Yea I don't see that. Most of the guys are like 5'8 so they look bigger. At 6'6 I have more muscle then most of them but I'm so tall.

  • @jimmysmithtraining mjs height! great vids man!

  • @PeoplesChampEra thanks buddy!

  • very nice

  • Awesome, Body! Great shots

  • awsome man

  • @hostnasluap Thanks for watching buddy!

  • looking really good Jimmy!
