The Night Rod with midcontrols is the bike. I have a 2007 Night Rod in Pacific Blue Pearl.I'm so glad I got the one I did.I feel it is the best of the Rods yet.

in responce to who won, the muscle swerved first lol, and the Night Rod has the intimidation factor. I own a Night Rod soooo i know about it lol. Honestly the muscle looks to bulky and wide for me, dont like the rear fender ect. DX all the way, no other way to go but the DARK SIDE !!!!!!!!

I rented the 100 anniversary v-rod, test drove the night rod and the muscle. The muscle's footpegs are a little closer, which made it more comfortable for me, but it was WIDER. THe 100 anniversary v-rod turned on a dime, but only had 1130cc engine, (which was just fine, got her up to 130mph) but after testing out the night rod, I was hooked...exhaust runs a little hot, but it's a BEAST!

Whatever...I have owned a NRS for over two years and it is the baddest bike HD makes. I've riden it cross country, through 21 states and 7740 miles. If you ride on two wheels, great...if you ride a HD...that's even better...If you ride a Night Rod Special...that's the best.
