  • @IllIdepechemodeIllI You propose giving phenelzine to a dog? Have you any idea about the problems associated with this? Most definitely NOT a drug of choice.

  • @electroexecutoide that's what i take for my stress, anxiety and panic. i'm trying to remove stress from my life that i **THINK** made me lose my hair in 1996. your right...it"s a 'tupid idea giving it to dogs and the dose "I" take is way over normal..it would probably kill a dog(thanks to your superior medical knowledge electro) but i have full blown AIDS and i'm bald all over my body(even my pubes) and i'm severely depressed =( thanks for being nice to be and not bullying me as usual, Sir!!!

  • its a fur ball thats what my dog did

  • My specialist say's this is a reverse sneeze, generally cause from an undiagnosed food allergy. get her to deep swallow.

  • aaaaw, poor puppy, why was she panicking?

  • My vet calls this a backwards sneeze (don't laugh that's what it is called)...simple cure, get it to swallow. Either gently stroke it's throat until it swallows or dab your finger in something nummy and rub it over it's gums. It stops my pug's attacks in their tracks. Try it!

  • lmfao @ "take a deep, calming breath" as if adjectives factor into the dog's understanding

  • my dog has the same problem. He has been doing it a lot more lately, i dont know whats wrong with him.

  • flygrl69 is right!! I have a Chi that had an attack like this. She's 2 years old now and it only happened once. They say it can become worse with age tho :( My vet said to keep record of when and for how long the attacks last. I hope she is better now!

  • lol whenever i bring my beagle to the vet her mouth opens up and she cant close it and foam comes out her mouth

  • no my dog has this same thing. Take him to the vets it is a collapsing tracea. They will give him meds and if it is bad enought it may require surgery. PLEASE take you dog to the vets!! If you have any questions about this you can ask me. Once he is on the meds this wont happen anymore

  • Looks/Sounds reversed sneezing to me...

  • ehh..thats very similar to reversed sneeze

  • thats not a panic attack its an ashma attack....thats what my dog does and we brought her to the vet and the vet said that its not serious or anything and told us it is ashhma!!!
