Please, I am asking you to read about Islam, go to any Islamic-centre and ask them for a booklet about Islam. If you believe in a specific religion then you believe that there are awards and punishments based on your deeds. So why would waste your short life in believing on something wrong. I just wanted to note that Islam cannot be forced on others, yet it must be spread to the people for them to decide. and after 1400 years of the revelation of the Qur'an, I say to all world don' t see to Muslims only, but look at Islam. I believe that Islam provides to us :

This is absolutely wrong. this is basically a "new" version of Islam that is non-existent. Not even the Tafsir agrees with this woman. Not Ibn Katheer nor anyone else. She's basically trying to make a new religion all together. Islam can't just be based on the Quran. The hadith is very important especially The Sahih-muslim and bukhari. the Quran is in way from God as it contains an aweful numbers of errors for what it claims to be. Mohammad can't be a prophet either. Get real now!

@motocrossing Islam religion is completely from the Quran. The hadith is like saying an interpretation of the Quran to the people so they can "fully" understand every detail. And everything that woman said is is true and mentioned with even more detail in the quran and sunnah. How can you even claim that she is lying? I don't believe (neither do any of us) that she just went to TED and started babbling about stuff without any sources.Why don't you give me sources of what you're talking about.

She is lying.
Islam is not simply the Quran, it is the Quran and the Sunnah.
The 72 virgins is in the ahadith collections of Bukhari.
No muslim worth his salt is going to question the veracity of the sahih ahadith of bukhari.
Additionally, the Quran is revealed for all time. And therefore it is conceivable that in a similar situation (muslims being prevented from worship) they would be obligated to follow the injuctions of sura 9 regarding killing infidels.

Please, I am asking you to read about Islam, go to any Islamic-centre and ask them for a booklet about Islam. If you believe in a specific religion then you believe that there are awards and punishments based on your deeds. So why would waste your short life in believing on something wrong. There is no shame in changing your religion to what is right, in fact it is honour and it shows that you are THINKING not only FOLLOWING.

I just wanted to note that Islam cannot be forced on others, yet it must be spread to the people for them to decide. If you embraced Islam and testified that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is a messenger of Allah or if you didn't, then it is you who is going to be awarded or punished in the eternal life. However, we as Muslims have to fulfil our duty of spreading the word of god to you (non-Muslims) for you to critically think and then hopefully accept.

I would like to thank Lesley Hazleton for taking the time and patience to read the Quraan carefully, it is just fair to do so, it's highly recomended to do so and take it seriously, because it's a book that target all human kind for a true salvation, and it's the absolute true last word of the creator of all.

@DawahFilms The cherry pickers are those whose deluded wishful thinking gives stupid credibility to a fable from 600, that some god, with almighty powers, decided the best and most efficient way to reveal himself, was to speak to a man in the arabian desert - in arabic at that - and that by word of mouth it was supposed to spread from there to Peru, New Guinea etc.
