@takemypot As far as warehousing jobs go, I think their's quite a bit of them actually here. I'm not sure if they are still hiring, but I do know that when I was looking for a job I found lots of warehouse opportunities. They are farther in town, Nampa is hiring like crazy as well but i wouldn't recommend living their unless you really have to. It's cheap to live their but not as nice as boise.

The Boise area is a terrible place to live. The police are totally corrupt. They will rob you blind for driving down the street then ignore you when your family is under attack. There is no useful public transportation, no light rail. The churches every two miles are an eyesore and a drain on the local economy. The road network is designed to inhibit transportation instead of promote it. The city villainizes bicycle riding, and on and on and on it goes.

Also it is nice how there are special events that allows for learning and experiencing different cultures including museums, concerts, outdoor events, and many other fun and interesting activities!

i used to live downtown in the idaho building across from soho. of all the cities i've lived in america, boise is the tops, by far. desert, mountains, awesome bars, more hot chicks per capita than any other city that doesn't have a beach, cool people everywhere, CLEAN, isolated yet urban, snowboarding, epic mountain biking from mountain tops right down into the bars, house parties like you'd never believe, friendly people who say hi and hold doors open for you. why did i ever leave?

i used to live downtown in the idaho building across from soho. of all the cities i've lived in america, boise is the tops, by far. desert, mountains, awesome bars, more hot chicks per capita than any other city that doesn't have a beach, cool people everywhere, CLEAN, isolated yet urban, snowboarding, epic mountain biking from mountain tops right down into the bars, house parties like you'd never believe, friendly people who say hi and hold doors open for you. why did i ever leave?

I got there in 83 and left in 85 for the military. I love Idaho but I don't believe I'll ever move back. Boise is so packed with people now and that is not such a bad thing but I miss it the way it was. I lived in California too...come on guys it is America no matter how you see it. Both have a lot to offer.
