A father makes a big ass difference. I know its not the most politically correct thing to say but a large amount of single mom households in the black community creates doesn't work. If Demetrius dad would stayed around and played a part in his life this guy the Hook would probably be millionaire NBA player now. Fathers makes a difference i know at least in my life minds did.

I agree 1000%... but his dad was in jail like his mom. I've been reading and watching a lot of interviews about Derrick Rose (my new favorite ball player) and everybody's always talking about how strict and guarded his older brothers were during his high school days. They never let him hangout anywhere because they saw his talent and never wanted him to go on the wrong path and destroy his future. I use to think it sounded over the top but looking at Hook, I now understand.
