  • Submit to US...or else! Is dying really that bad?

  • where are all the progressives claiming we'd be somalia were it not for the IRS, awfully quiet!

  • Sorry folks. While the first trial ended in a mistrial, the second ended in a conviction on 49 counts of failure to collect or pay employment taxes, 2 counts of attempting to interfere with administering IRS laws, 4 counts of tax evasion and 1 count of wire fraud. 15 years, 10 months.

  • @MrUnidyne Just dont ----- CONTRACT!!!!!

  • @bellcord NO ... there is NO LAW to be found! They just had help in BS in the courts and illegally dragged the guy off to the facility. He's still innocent, he's just locked away. IRS is as Federal as FedEx! FACT! It's not part of the Gov. Has NO legal right to demand taxes from income or take your stuff if you don't pay income tax. It gets worse than that! Watch America : Freedom to Fascism to see what I mean. If you dare!

  • Irwin Schiff held this view for years even holding seminars telling people they couldn't produce a law saying you had to pay taxes...Mr. Schiff is currently serving 10 to 15 in a Federal Correctional facility...they seemed to have found the law..

  • @bellcord No, they haven't actually. They just found a way to muscle the result they want. They still can't provide a law and never will cus it goes against suprime court ruling that personal income cannot be taxed due to being personal property.

  • Robert Kahre is incarcerated at a low-security federal facility in Lompoc, Calif., for running what jurors determined to be a cash-under-the-table payroll scam. Prosecutors estimated that he paid out about $120 million in wages, all bypassing the Internal Revenue Service.

  • "starting on January 1st in 2012, US federal law will require coin and bullion dealers to report to the Internal Revenue Service all gold and silver coin purchases and sales greater than $600."

It's in the Health Care Bill

  • lol hahahahahahh stupid fucking IRS, think there above the law hahahahaha. Soon there will be tax on bullion, glad there end is near, Revolution the only Solution!!!

  • What happened in Sherry Peel Jackson's case- she is now in jail, and reportedly being denied adequate medical care.

  • CAN THERE REALLY BE LAW OR COURTS OF LAW THAT PERMITS LEGAL STEALING & LEGAL SLAVERY?

NO MORE LEGAL THIEF ARGUMENTS ITS TIME TO BAND TOGETHER. We need unity not legal arguing.

Is freedom that which requires free people to legally pay for anothers dreams, schemes, wants, desires, pleasures, wealth building, failures bailouts & other legal mischief when I cannot force my neighbor to pay for my dreams, schemes...?

  • RetSquid SpamOlabeler & stupid thief

You got blocked from making comments in the Country of Laws (not men) Pursuit of Happiness Video because YOU'RE A SPAM-O-LABELER?

Please consider talking to your girlfriend psychologist (or is she really just your head shrink) about your problems.

Youre just a government shill troll.

  • YeeeeeeeeeeeeHAW!

  • IF YOU CAN BE COMPELLED by any mechanism of law, force or coersion to do anything you are not free, get that fucking delusion out of your head!

Laws that prohibit certain behaviors don't force you to do anything and you are still free to break them and face the consequences.

Want to beat Selective Service? The draft is coming H.R.163 and S.89. Show up but don't swear in don't sign a single document. Can't be forced to contract, PERIOD. 13th amendment prohibits involuntary servitude.

  • Your good points get clouded when you use profanity. Your comments will get mark as spam and then no one will see them too.

Yick Wo v Hopkins USSC "...Not subject to law..." that harms people.

  • Your point too is good. Mea culpa, excuse the profanity, thanks. Peace

  • Don't forget Vernice Kuglin. She heard the tax protestor arguments and wrote many letters to the IRS for a clear unambiguous law stating she had to pay taxes. The IRS didn't/COULDN'T tell her so she stopped paying. IRS lost an embarrassing case against her. Tax court is voluntary and without your consent, express or tacit, they can not prosecute you. Google "Thinkfree" and start learning how their, not your, laws work.

  • Truths you'll never hear from RetSquid. Former Judge Andrew Napolitano wrote in his book CONSTITUTIONAL CHAOS,

'Because it breaks the law, the government is not your friend...after witnessing first-hand how the criminal justice system works to subvert and shred the Constitution. You think you have rights that are guaranteed? Well think again.'

'The government is simply stretching and twisting federal law & the Constitution in whatever way it sees fit for whatever contemporary need it may have.'

  • Is what the working class needs to understand is this....

Corrupted spending of tax money to bail out AIG and other agencies and wars created with our money, and government using our money to profit more money off of us and control our thinking and hinder our learning is the crime and oppression at hand. The Truth is this, you're kept at bay through fear, and confusion, while they continue to plot against the very suppliers of their fortunes. THAT IS WHAT'S HAPPENING! And we support it.

  • They get rich, and they sit back and watch us fight one another through our struggles and oppressions because we dont know who the culprit really is. We're too dumbed down to see it. We fight our own families. We fight others who are poor just like us. They are so subtle, and so pervasive. They take advantage of the nieve. They don't play by the same rules we play by. Their safe haven is our ignorance. We are taught just enough to do their work, but not enough to catch them. We are a blind.

  • The very idea of using a medium of exchange to buy and trade resources is this simple understanding.... You need to have 12chickens to trade for a pig. But with a medium of exchange, you only print the medium and trade it for 12 chickens or you print twice the amount and buy them all at no effort to you.

If you control the medium, you get everything at no effort while those who have to earn the medium are too busy to catch on to what you're up to. Hense the confusing laws of the Beast!

  • You can only levy taxes on a corporation.

Under international maritime law, since you were born, most of us were "incorporated" into this fraudulent system through SSI.

Wht ele would your name b in all capital letters on a bill, subpoena, license, etc.

Since you are part of this system as such, since they "bought" you at birth, like an asset, they can legally tax your wages.

    Bullshit. 100%.

  • "Bullshit. 100%. "

Your right all of what you said is that!

  • @RetSquid Your bull shit.

  • @jasonnissan1

How about you try and make a real English sentence? Unless you are telling me that my bovine has just defecated, your post makes no sense.

  • @RetSquid Is that the best you can do? Ha Ha

  • @jasonnissan1

I don't like to waste too much time with moronic trolls like you, just enough time for me to laugh.

  • @RetSquid What the hell is up w/you millitary guys acting like your better than every one,or smarter. The way you comment I can smell the piss and vinegar in you ha ha.This isnt the first time we have commented back and forth,in fact every time I see your name its on this type of vid. Watch something else there Calamari !

  • @jasonnissan1

Most of the Military is better and smarter than the average person. When did we talk before? Must not have been that good, I don't remember you. I comment on this type of video because I found too many liars out there and decided to set them straight.

  • @RetSquid When did I lie? How can you set someone straight from a youtube comment ? I call bullshit you just want to argue with people. You and I know that every argument on here does NOT end resolved. Keep telling yourself that the millitary is some big god that everyone has to bow down to. Eventually you will find forces that even the millitary will fall to,happend in Germany and soon ours.

  • @jasonnissan1

When did you lie? With your very first post. The argument should be resolved because I provided proof of the truth. Why are you babbling about the Military? Did they kick you out or not let you in? If the Military fails, so does the Country as a whole.

  • @RetSquid Your form of telling the truth is asking me if your OX (wife) has taken a shit (give birth to your child). Are you implying that I am a doctor ? ha ha..... Well Red Squirt I mean calamari, Never will I join nor try to join the military. Its ok fella you will be forgotten in 5 yrs like all the rest. How is the search for W.M.D going? OH ya there was none!!!! jokes on you guys, die for nothing.

  • @jasonnissan1

That has got to be one of the dumbest posts I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot. You wouldn't be accepted by the Military, most likely you wouldn't score high enough on the ASVAB. Go play with your toy cars.

  • @RetSquid You know I am right, your the govs bitch's whom think they are fighting for "some great cause" but reality check bud. ITS FOR GREED.As for your "swift comment" G.I. JOE, I have been playing with my cars. Cause you fought SOOO hard for my "freedom" to do so! If I am so dumb, why do you respond?

  • @jasonnissan1

I can't resist trying to educate the idiots of the world. And I am still getting paid and will for the rest of my life...most of it tax free, thank you very much. :)

  • @RetSquid Ya its hard to resist my sexiness I know but for the record I am strait. So none of that gay navy slap ass here dude.

  • @jasonnissan1

    Non Sequitur.

  • @RetSquid sure dude

  • fuck these bastards.

  • An income tax is a step toward communism, it's listed as #2 in Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto, Is that what you support RetSquid?

  • Actually, what he wanted was "A heavy progressive or graduated income tax." i.e. the more money you make the higher percentage you pay in taxes, like what the Democrats want. So, no I don't support "A heavy progressive or graduated income tax." He also wanted "Free education for all children in public schools". Does that mean the US is communist?

  • Does that mean the US is communist? Amerika is borderline communism we are no longer a free enterprise, our government has tranformed into socialism. That's where the government controls the economic factor of society RetSquid, thought you might need help with that one.

  • Almost every society has some socialism. Do we have a planned economy? No. Does the state own the means of production? No.

  • Communism doesn't have anything to do with the States RetSquid. If you can't see the movement of Society and government now towards a more communistic form of government then you really can't see what's going on with the Federal government buying up all the mortgages and bad loans from the financial institutions now can you? Not to mention AIG.

  • It does if it owns the people.

  • "There are a handful of people who have avoided criminal (but not civil) penalties by convincing a jury that they were TOO STUPID or delusional to understand the tax laws and their violations were not "willful," but no one has ever won against the IRS in a tax collection case using one of the frivolous arguments." Jonathan R. Siegel Professor of Law

  • "Compensation for labor or services, paid in the form of wages or salary, has been universally held by the courts of this republic to be income, subject to the income tax laws currently applicable." Interesting because 15 U.S.C. 17 clearly states "The labor of a human being is not a commodity or article of commerce." Therefore cannot be made subject to any tax as though it were such.

  • "The labor of a human being is not a commodity or article of commerce."

Where are you being taxed for your labor? You're being taxed on the COMPENSATION for your labor. Next you'll probably want to know what the definition of 'is' is.

  • yeah its easy to be defeated by the ones in charge when u r a spineless coward whod rather live a life of bondage than rock the boat. u deserve to be extorted. bottom line why cant anybody and i mean ANYBODY simply show where it is a law. they just dodge the question like all those terrified religiouse sheep. BAH BAH BAH

  • "why cant anybody and i mean ANYBODY simply show where it is a law."

26 USC is the law. Now that I've shown you, you're probably going to deny that it is.

  • 26 USC is the tax law they use, however it only applies to resident and non-resident aliens. Which one are you? 26 USC does not apply to U.S. citizens earning a domestic income.

  • Section 861 of the tax code determines whether income is considered to be from a source within the United States or from a source outside the United States. But the rest of the tax code (especially sections 1, 61, and 63) shows that U.S. citizens are taxed on their income from all sources, whether from within or outside the United States.... but for most U.S. citizens, the source simply doesn't matter, because U.S. citizens are taxed on their income from all sources.

  • because U.S. citizens are taxed on their income from all sources.

And according to law, where are these sources listed? To merely leave this term "source" legally open for anyone to decide what the proper legal definition of a "source" is, is in itself also unlawful.

  • "Compensation for labor or services, paid in the form of wages or salary, has been universally held by the courts of this republic to be income, subject to the income tax laws currently applicable. . . . [Taxpayer] seems to have been inspired by various tax protesting groups across the land who postulate weird and illogical theories of tax avoidance all to the detriment of the common weal [sic] and of themselves." United States v. Romero, 640 F.2d 1014, 1016 (9th Cir. 1981).

  • So why do I have to pay capital gains? That's not labor. Let's say I worked hard, paid my income tax and with my already taxed money bought a Mickey Mantle baseball card I saw at a garage sale for $1.00. Then I sell it for $1000. Why is is legal for the government to tax me 28% on that?

  • Lawfully as originally considered it is the gain on your investment that is subject to the income tax. However, where your labor is only traded is the real mischief. Where the law claims today that your labor is of zero value and can tax labor is just legal thievery.

A sham because if you own a business you will have maintenance & upkeep costs of doing business that are legal deductions. Not for your body though is the same consideration given. Eating, drink & shelter not a consideration today

  • The really interesting thing here... this video could have been title "161 Federal Tax Charges, 0 acquittals." Despite this defeat, the defendants can still be tried again. They are not out of jeopardy. I don't get the "stunning defeat" part.

  • It's not a defeat, this is how the courts handle these types of things. Often times the tax protesters are just naive people who have watched or read some piece of anti-IRS/anti-Fed material and decided they were going to stand up for themselves. The courts generally tell them "no, you really have to pay taxes, but we're not going to convict you of tax evasion just for being righteous in your own mind due to misinformation." They get released and told they still have to pay.

  • Why didn't this story make it to main stream news?

  • It hasnt hit main stream because main stream doesnt want you to know this!

    hahahahaha

  • Because this guy is just another kooky tax protester. They try to proclaim that there are loopholes in the tax code where there are none and pretend that the majority of cases are returned without convictions. If you evade taxes you will likely go to jail and the tax protester movement will forget about you for the sake of their confirmation bias.

  • If he's so "kooky" why isn't he in jail, and why didn't he get charged with a crime?

Maybe there is something to it?

  • I'm trying to find that out, I can't find any information about this case since Robert Kahre was indicted a few years ago. The poster of this video doesn't give any information surrounding the supposed acquittal. Most likely the IRS agents royally screwed something up and ended up having to drop charges.

  • Just because he's not in jail doesn't mean that he won. He's still going to have to pay those taxes, with interest and penalties now.

  • Yep, that's always the case. I was unsure on that particular fellow, but without having researched his case in particular I couldn't make a judgement.

But yes, as Wesley Snipes recently found out: just because you aren't in jail doesn't mean you got off.

  • Wesley may be going to jail for three years.

  • All tax protestor arguments I have read have been rejected by the courts, I have yet to find one case where tax evasion was declared legal by the courts, despite the insistence of the tax protestor movement. In a SCANT FEW cases, juries have found them not guilty of CRIMINAL charges because their intent was not malicious, but they still had to pay the back taxes. But most of these people go to prison.

  • What about Tom Cryer.

    Google: "Tom Cryer tax"

His intention was not to pay federal income tax, he knew the law (he's a lawyer). Still, the jury found him not guilty?

Whichever way you look at it, taxes on your time/effort is a modern form of slavery. Ask yourself why was there no income tax before the 1900s? Every cent of your federal income tax goes to corrupt banking cartels to pay interest, on money that the government should have created itself. The "Federal" reserve is corrupt!

  • Oh geez, you're one of those people. "Interest" paid to the federal reserve is not interest that a bunch of fat rich bankers roll around in and smoke cigars. It is the rate at which money is destroyed and printed. When you pay taxes, you are paying money either into the government's surplus cash reserves (Reagan) or to be burned off as interest after a massive cash injection (right now). It's a way of borrowing from future GDP provided the GDP is good in the future. And ours is good.

  • Give me a break. Sure it's paid to fat rich bankers (Have you ever seen a poor fat banker?), and you'll believe everything they tell you *rolls eyes*. You still didn't answer why income tax was only introduced less than 100 years ago. How did gov survive before that. Interestingly, the FED was also introduced less than 100 years ago.

  • The government needed more money so they passed the 16th Amendment. The Fed came into existence because we switched from commodity backed to a fiat currency. This is not some evil conspiracy theory. And yes bankers are well-paid. But the "interest" we pay to the fed is not "profit" for them. That's not how fiat currency works. It's monopoly money given value by law.

  • SemperLieSuckah - Keep living the "American dream". One day you will have a rude awakening to reality.

  • That's nice, but where are you finding information that Tom Cryer did not have to pay? Everything i find says he did.

Don't pay your taxes, I believe YOU will be the one having a rude awakening.

  • I don't pay taxes.

  • Enjoy your freedom while you can then. I suggest reading the wikipedia article for "Tax Protestor Arguments". Make sure you're not using any of those excuses. You should also google "IRS Frivolous Tax Arguments" and read what the IRS has to say in these matters. Your position is specious and you are being led by charlatans and liars.

  • I believe you're being led by "charlatans and liars", who are also pocketing your money.

When enough people stop paying, their house of cards will fall. And what a great day that will be.

They use fear to keep you in submission. And you believe what they tell you. I am free, you are a slave.

  • Right, have fun saying that from prison walls because you believe some kooky jackass who believes the gubmint is out to get him. I suggest you look into how many people are convicted of tax evasion every year, rather than relying on the few who aren't and the even smaller few of those who try to pretend that they 'won'.

  • SemperLieSuckah - You're in prison now, working as a tax slave.

I am free every day. Even if they imprison me I still won't be paying taxes. Besides I could use a bit of R&R, reading a few good books ...

  • Keep telling yourself that. Good night.

  • @DangerousCombination Beautifully put !!!!

  • JEsus SLS, do you live under a ROCK??? You know nothing about the Fed Reserve cartel do you?? You have been hypMOtized by them.

  • No, what claim specifically do you have against my assertions?

  • John Cryer was ALSO found not guilty of CRIMINAL CHARGES of income tax evasion, but was still ORDERED TO PAY his taxes. That is that slim minority the tax protestors constantly tout as successes, when they are not. The people still have to pay the tax, they just aren't sent to jail for evasion because the jury had mercy.

  • There are a handful of people who have avoided criminal (but not civil) penalties by convincing a jury that they were too STUPID or delusional to understand the tax laws and their violations were not willful, but no one has ever won against the IRS in a tax collection case using one of the frivolous arguments described.

  • RetSquid Tax Commissioners have claimed not to understand tax law. So it is your opinion that they are STUPID too and delusional. LOL

In fact a jury with just one honest man or woman of good conscience can see though the courts of the just because law.

But what would you know of right or wrong?

  • a lie the transcripts are available sherry peel won on that argument and so did joe peel even pushed a state citizen argument which was not recognized by the judge (judge claimed state was u.s. state, not true in some contexts)

  • Tom Cryer also never said in his trials that he was disputing the legitimacy of income tax. He was trying to say that he thought he was exempt because he had set up a weird mutual fund scheme which he figured was exempt. The courts said "no, it's not. Pay the back taxes and we will acquit you of criminal charges."

  • Read the court transcripts (you obviously haven't)! That's rubbish about the "mutual fund scheme", he was stating federal income tax doesn't apply to him, he even encouraged his staff not to file (they did file, fear of IRS).

  • The mutual fund scheme is what I read. Regardless, he was only aquitted of tax evasion and told to pay his taxes. It's a mercy move because no one wants to send someone to prison over money. HIS EVASION WAS NOT DECLARED LEGITIMATE, HE STILL HAD TO PAY.

  • Also, he hasn't "paid back" any income taxes. And he was acquitted of criminal charges (he was tried for criminal charges).

  • Where are you reading that he didn't have to pay?

  • Hey, you asserted he did have to pay. You're the one who needs to prove your assertion.

  • The judge is running now for retention and thinks everything is A OK. The worst part about all of this was that Sen. Specter, Casey and Congressman Chris Carney and Gov. Rendel knew about this case and the tax evasion issues and never said a damn thing. You see, it appears the the IRS is not interested in going after people who stole, spent and enjoyed tax free money. NO they are only interested in going after people who made it honestly.

  • Corruption abounds in the USA regarding the big fish who seem to be immune from the hammer of our laws. The IRS has announced that they will not

go after Brenda and Judge John Mott for not declaring about 500 to 600,000 dollars of income during a 5-6 year period. Brenda stole it from the water authority of Canton. The judge is running now for retention and thinks everything is A OK. .

  • These people should find out how Brenda Mott could steal about 600,000 bucks from the people of Canton , PA and not pay any taxes, interest , penalties on this unrecorded , un declared income.

  • What does this comment have to do with the video?

  • If we're to pay a tax on the value of the medium of currency, then if using fed reserve notes, we should be paying on the value of the paper itself. That's basically the IRS' arguement here.

  • an astoundingly genius observation. inarguable logic. I love this comment.
