Jeez people, music changes, and genres mix. In my personal opinion they don't sound bad AT ALL and they were simply amazing live. Their album was very "riff-centralized" hard rock combining elements from each of the three bands into a single band. Sounds great. To bad people are to stiff to try something new.

I think that mainstream radio greatly contributes to this problem because a vast majority people get their music from such sources.. And it's those sources that are paid by major record labels to play their music. So it doesn't necessarily accurately represent everything out there..

A friend of mine's itunes lists all of his music as "MUSIC" in the genre column. He doesn't deal with it at all. And don't even get me started on all the "core" BS out there... The point here is that people need to pay more attention to what they're hearing...
