Cho Pyone also sang this. And her version is very good. But I love May Shin's one most. Gracefully emotional. But in this Yadana Oo version, when she sings 'Kyu Kyu Thin ... ", it's still OK ... but when she switched to 'Shwe Hnin si ..... ", it's odd, I think. But anyway, I love to see burmese singers sing the burmese-music-style songs.
Her voice sounds a lot better singing more traditional burmese songs than all that mixed stuff that people sing in Burma now. The only modern style that fits the burmese language is hip-hop because it's similar to the way burmese sing with do-bat and oh-zi drums.
Yes,I agree. She can sing old traditional songs very well.I listened her one copy song from Taiwan (the singer is HK born Taiwanese named Chao Wa Kin)and not so good. This "Chit Ye Sin=loving clear water" (original singer:May Shin) was sung by May Sweet in 1980s and also very good.Recently I found out one singer "Soe Sandar Htun" who sing very well Burmese orignal old songs.
Her voice is sweet and soft that matches to sing traditional songs. Amongst those who had sung this song (Chit-Yae-Sin), she is the best and even better than the original singer
That's very right. Most of the time it becomes tasteless when burmese vocalists sing jazz, country, rock and pop songs, doesn't sound authentic with burmese way of voicing tones and scales.

Strangely, Min Aung also sang this and it's nice too. But I feel like the lyric is just for women.

I love this song since I was little. Yadana Oo sang pretty good too. She does way better singing this type of music than her pop music.
