This doesn't have butter in it so it didn't melt. You should try asking youtube user named seriouscakes as she is the queen of buttercream ; )

I'll send what I have. This icing can be a little temperental as it seems to be weather dependant. it stays quite soft in colder weather & sets firmer in hotter weather. It would be tricky to get the consistancy right for scrolls etc - writing might be ok.

It's made by mixing sugar, egg whites, light corn syrup, cream of tartar, vanilla extract and pink food colouring over simmering water with an electric beater til you get it firm enough to pipe with. If you want the exact recipe just email me ; )

I learnt how to make a cupcake stand from a lady named Lousie from a website called cakejournal. com. Just go to her tutorials section & she has heaps of stuff. I didn't follow her instructions completely but you get the general idea when you go through the tutorial.
