Can you talk about your glasses? They are great! I wish I could wear some like that but my lenses are extremely thick, so they don't look too good w/ that type of frame. (or so I'm told, lol)

your natural hair is beautiful! my hair use to be like that when i was younger and my mother put a adult relaxer on my hair, and then my curls burnt out where it was completely nappy. SO in order to keep my hair taimed i do do relaxers but i do to the hair salon now lol.

@jaz1162003 I got a relaxer when I was young too. Even though your hair may have been burnt by the relaxer, the new hair that grows out should be normal and healthy. It's a long process (it took me almost 2 years), but if you grow your hair out, I am sure your natural curls will come back!

@eyeXluvXmakeup well i hadn't gotten a relaxer in a couple years maybe like five and then i got tired of it being really nappy cuz there was no more curls so i finally got the relaxer and it's easier to tame. my hair use to look like urs very curly

your hair looks great! I have the same texture as you, but so much more frizz :( I wonder if this product would work for me ... Do you ever have a problem with frizz? You have a great cut as well! Which salon did you go to?

@girlabee Sometimes I have a problem with frizz, but I actually don't mind it do much. I have also been trying Curls Rock by TIGI and I really like it. If you are having a problem with frizz, that might help. As for my cut, its actually not in a style really. My mom cut it for me. She is a hairstylist, so she knows what she is doing, but she essentially just went around my head and cut off any relaxed hair and this is what I got!

Went to the website, looked up Hair Rules since you mentioned it. I've been natural for 4 years and I'm always interested in new items. I first found their curling cream and saw the second ingredient was Mineral Oil. Immediately turned off. Mineral Oil isn't great for any hair type. Just thought I'd let you know, I still find the website as something pretty awesome though. ^^

@CamiInc I hear that a lot. I have used products with mineral oil in it my whole life, and while I understand that it may not be the best thing is the world for some people, I have never had a problem with it.

Have you ever tried a diffuser?? I know alot of people love it bc it doesn't mess up there curl pattern and it keeps the volume that people love!

@TraceTrace25 yeah, sometimes I use a diffuser and sometimes I don't. It depends on how quickly I want my hair to dry. Without a diffuser it dries quicker. I just use the the little mitten kind from sallys.

How do you like the Finishing Cream? I'm pretty sure it contains mineral oil, and I know my hair doesn't even like a hint of it in any product.

@SouthernBeautyMaven I haven't tried the Hydrating Finishing Cream, just the Kinky Curling Cream. It also has mineral oil in it, but I havent done any research on mineral oil to know why its so bad. It works fine for me, but I will keep everyone updated.

I am really interested in this product I just cut of my relaxer and I am not really sure how to get my hair to begin to form curls, do you think that these products will help to form a curl pattern as well? Do they sell the products in any stores or is it only on line?

@ceairamoorejm like I said in the video, it won't create curls that you don't already have. All it does is define your existing curls to help control and maintain frizz. It's also available at some Ulta stores.
