  • I cant wait to see you in an Akubra Longreach. Its just as dapier as the Angler

  • @Directopalooza It is well made and holding up well, but I don't wear it as much these days.

  • I get my Akubra hats at Hats by the Hundred in Australia. Very good prices. But no shaping on the hat brims, and no chin straps, though you can get the strap added with the order. So I just shape the brim after the hat arrives. My favorite is an Akubra Territory, I wear it daily in the hot months of summer in South Texas. Very good hats, they are tough and always look good. My hat band (with brass buckle) was cut from an old pair of leather Ralph Lauren suspenders!

  • u look like fuckin freddie kruger ok... i wont swear much so i dont give u a heart attack but u wont live much longer ne way u might b dead already idk!

  • @V1D30gameFR34K Dude, you need to learn Web etiquette. Show some respect for people and they will in turn show respect for you when you need it.

  • Looks like they use [used?] a lot of stiffener on that hat's fur.

  • Good purchase mate. Love to see that Akubras are appreciated the world over.

  • I got one myself due to seeing how good it looked on you. I love it Yes its a casual style Sir but its very comfy and worth the money

  • The Angler looks good on you. I want one myself.

  • If your ever in the country area of Australia you will blend in as the Akubra is the style of places like Alice Springs and is worn by young and older guys and gals so there will be enough to raise the comfort level there. I enjoy wearing Akubra/R.M Willaims alonside my flatcaps as its an alterntive stlyle plus 2 of my brothers are Jackaroos so its a family thing as well as a townie fashion

  • g'day mate, all u need now is a blue singlet and a VB and you'll be set!!

  • I'm looking into an Akubra myself - a Federation IV, Akubra quality with the famous Indiana Jones style that Herbert Johnson can't seem to provide anymore.

  • That's some nice work, but you should handle your nice new hat by the brim. It looked like you're almost pinching the crown. Then you will have to get another one..

  • I know. Gives me an excuse to order another one.

  • Akubra is def your style Sir. The Angler looks awesome on you. If you ever get another hat def get a Cooper Pedy as that would really give you both shade and a daper look Sir

  • I know the style. It has a real sharks tooth on the band. If you ever get another hat def get a cooper pedy as thats a lovely wide brimmed hat with a real opal on the band. Im into the same kind of hats your into as well as flatcaps

  • Cool hat.

  • Quality hat! I'm a hat man myself. I'm 53 and bought my first fedora when I was 18. I've always like the teardrop style and have them imported from Mike The Hatter in the US. You can never have enough hats.

  • The Aussie dollar is worth bugger all at the moment so prices have gone down around 40% for US buyers.

Look on eBay but make sure you check the store inventory box also to show store products.

  • he man dont be so hard on ur self you can never have to many hats!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A little late, but in reply to JP above, it's a 3" (76mm) brim.

  • I'm a fedora guy...but thats a good lookin' hat my friend.

  • @supr4vegeta You can also get fendora's made by Akubra mate!

  • I thought I was the only mad hatter, I have an Akubra Territory, past it's prime, replaced by something I picked up for 15 quid at the Leamington Peace Festival, looks a bit like your hat.

  • Rocking hats! I know what's in this box!!!

  • man, I really like that hat!

where did you buy it? I searched but couldn't find it for sale on the net

I've recently bought an Akubra Cattleman, which is great, but I'd like a hat with a somewhat smaller brim as well, and this one seems to fit the bill

do you happen to know the brim size?

    greets, JP

  • I collected stetsons, fedoras, ect for a year off ebay ,thats what my wife would say,not another hat,I had about 2 doz ,but the prices on ebay went up so much Istarted selling the vintage hats back into ebay at a good profit, but some I wont sell, lol

  • The hat is an Akubra "Angler" model made in Austrialia.
