@wilboki Well it says in the bible that we are the center of the universe, it also says that the sun revolves around Earth. The big bang can be easily answered with Quantum mechanics, if you know how it works.
Dood this is so crazy! I know some stars were bigger then our sun but WOW! Imagine the world population of the biggest star (the last one in the video) if it had life! JEEEEEZZ!!!
the 18 people who disliked this think they're the center of the universe. when in fact, they are nothing but meaningless specks living on top of another speck.
THIS IS NOTHING! Look up the VY Canis Majoris...its seven QUADRILLION times the earth...i am not exaggerating...it is 1800 - 2200 Solar Radius' big...a solar radius is 432,450 miles big!
@Vdp0el That's because we are compared to the universe. It amazes me. I can literally sit on the computer and search stuff about the universe and never get bored because of how amazing it is. For some reason anything I can't and will never fully understand amazes me.
@Vdp0el Same. If there is something I don't understand I usually search stuff about it until I do. But what amazes me about the Universe is the fact that I will NEVER completely understand it and that is one of the reasons I find it so interesting. Since you love to learn about it also, go to earthsky.org(if you don't already know about it) they have a whole bunch of stuff there(No this is not an advertisement). It's like a daily blog with updates on Science. Really good website IMO.
@o0oK1LLERo0o Oh nice, thanks man. But it's not only the universe that interests me, just mystical and unexplainable thing in general! I'm about to watch an hour long documentary about the pyramids, and believe me I will be sitting in my bed, jaw dropping and just completely gone until it's over. I LOVE it. Thank you, I'll check your page out.
@kingnabeel12 and it is a fact that the bigger the star, the cooler it is. SO VY Canis being very hot, imagine those stars we haven't seen/found that are much cooler. As math showed, some stars are just over 3000 kelvin temp. Some are below. These starts are est. to be 5-7000 times bigger than the sun. Imagine THAT. All I think of when I see universe is, "oh my..."
@thedudeinyourgarden Can you explain that to me? Like, I think understands how flipping big those stars are. They are nothing else than a hug endless wall compared to Earth.
@VanorrBruh Invisible - Unable to be seen; not visible to the eye. That may only be two definitions of invisible but I'm sure this is how most people define invisible as so I'm sure that's how that person defines it as.
This video is wrong, because the perspecitve is incorrect. The objects are each travelling toward the vanishing point. You could make the earth make the sun look the size of a grape doing the same thing. And it would be incorrect. The objects need to be seen side by side, for a comparison of size.
@valarmanwe Don't ever and i repeat EVER try to talk smart again because you sound like a total DUMBASS..honestly dude do some research before you talk. @moneyquickeasy Well considering you're talking about God on a video about astronomy, you're either a troll or very close-minded. So I don't have to think hard to let people know.
@Indianbrkdncer You would you rather me talk about idiotic ideas such as the big bang theory? I'm sure you would. I was actually only responding to someone else's comment anyway. @moneyquickeasy It goes the other way around: nobody can prove that something does NOT exist. Such task is impossible, not only for god but other things as well. But if you believe something is real, it is you that have to prove its existence. That said, I'm agnostic: nobody can prove the existence or non-existence of god, at least for now, so my position is of doubt: I don't deny it, but I don't believe in it either.
@arminask As I said, nobody can prove the non-existence of anything. I challenge you to show me any proof that, for example, unicorns don't exist. Not being able to prove that, however, does not mean they do exist either. Proof is always on the existence side, not the other way around.
@sebagr of course you can't disprove existence of god completely, and if you did look for god, what exactly would you look for...I believe the belief in god does help some people, but there isn't any hard evidence for him, so maybe god is just an idea in peoples minds.

Yeah, just as the other two people before me said, the Universe is to complex and intelligently developed to be made of no divine intelligence. Surly there must have been something. And in case you believe in Multiverses and that Big Bangs are common, then I ask you where the Multiverse came from. And In fact, the Multiverse is far more complex than any single Universe that it contains.
@AmericanFighter1212 It's foolish to think that this all just happened. Would you believe me if I told you that there was an explosion and a bridge just appeared, just like that. No you wouldn't unless you were absolutely crazy. A bridge is simple compared to the universe.
This video completely blows my mind. I can watch this 100 times over and still not be able to wrap my mind around it all... when you think about those last huge stars i have no doubt that theres probably another star 100x bigger. I cant even imagine how small we are in the universe.
@GnomesAreEvil99 The amazing thing about us humans is that we can actually feel larger than the Universe, however small we are, for some people this feeling is interpreted as a mystic experience, for me personaly, I get it when I hear beatiful music. Indeed, the sheer size makes one less than humble, isn't it.
@jukio02 well my friend thats exactly our problem. its JUST sarcasm. but at this point im sick of arguing with anybody about respect. and im sick of uncivilized and uncultured so called humans. im sick of all of you. everythings ok, everythings "only" or "just". its not that bad, its ok right? tomorow you gona spit your mother in her face because she sayd NO when you asked for a 2nd or 3rd display screen for your computer so you can spend even more time "gaming".
At the very very end, you should add the ego of that fat pig, the obnoxious exploiter of peoples problems while she admires herself on a studio moniter, Oprah. Nothing is bigger than that.
some of the star sizes are wrong, but according to Wikipedia, Saturn's diameter is around 120k km...Pollux has 8x larger radius, so it's around 10-11m km (not 7)...Betelguese is surely over 1b km and Antares should be smaller actually...while Cephei's aren't bigger than VY Canis Majoris, who's around 3b km wide, so they can't be 3-3.5b km for sure...
good vid, but too many mistakes in measures and there are some other planets and stars that could be included
our sun is big, but those 3 or 4 fat asses near the end makes it look almost like a planet. just like an average americans makes europens look like child sized adults, lol.
That is intense....Oh man, I love the universe. So fascinating and mind boggling to think about. So many questions, so many theories, so little we really know.
and further to the left is my cock

Imagine how many resources we would have if our planet was the size of Betelgeuse or even bigger. Everything might as well be free!

This video is a realization to me that we are all incredibly insignificant in the universe.

At the very very end, you should add the ego of that fat pig, the obnoxious exploiter of peoples problems while she admires herself on a studio moniter, Oprah. Nothing is bigger than that.
JamesTKirkCobain 1 year ago
This video corrections:
1) Uranus should be included.
2) Saturn and Jupiter sizes are totally wrong. Saturn should be 3 quarters the size of Jupiter (in numbers: Saturn - 86,483km Jupiter - 142,500km)
3) Pollux is actually almost the size of Arcturus - Pollux is more than 3 quarters the size of Arcturus.
2/5 good
VincentPrice111 1 year ago
@VincentPrice111
some of the star sizes are wrong, but according to Wikipedia, Saturn's diameter is around 120k km...Pollux has 8x larger radius, so it's around 10-11m km (not 7)...Betelguese is surely over 1b km and Antares should be smaller actually...while Cephei's aren't bigger than VY Canis Majoris, who's around 3b km wide, so they can't be 3-3.5b km for sure...
good vid, but too many mistakes in measures and there are some other planets and stars that could be included
