The officer should risk injury because that is his fucking job! I would never expect an officer to show up to a gun fight with knife, but at the same time this example is like a cop showing up to a fist fight with a gun. I am just a regular guy, even I have restrained someone who attempted to assault someone without injury. Why cant a police officer who is trained to do so do the same without hurting anyone? The guy was 46 with down syndrome for fuck sakes, no excuse, he should be charged!

Very few cops are bad cops. They are between a rock and a hard place. If they do nothing and something happens they get sued, fired, etc.  If they do something but Monday morning quarterbacks decide it was wrong, they get sued, fired, etc. The bad ones make the news because if it bleeds it leads. If they do get it wrong, they should be held accountable just like anyone else.

The woman that was arrested and handcuffed in the mtl subway still hasn't been beaten. It made infowars news at the time. I was also arrested in the mtl. subway for sitting on the ground while waiting for the subway. It was like 150$. I kept asking the oppressor his name, they only give their last name now. I insisted and was escorted out of the subway. About tasers, they blame deaths on targets being drug users. But that's the kind of people that get arrested to begin with.

I am completely for woman NOT wearing veils after seeing a 16 yr old crippled for life because the woman driving the car was wearing a veil that obstruted her from seeing the teenager!!!

I am also completely for NOT wearing the veil during photos for driver's license & passports, we are not allowed to wear masks for these photos so why should they?

Well, those are special circumstances. But that doesn't mean they should be illegal to wear when you're walking down the street. It can be illegal to talk on a cell when you're driving, too, but that doesn't mean all cell phone use should be banned, does it?

A Niqab shouldn't interfere with driving. The eyes are clear. It's no different than having a hat and a bandana over your nose and mouth and bank robbers are known to execute expert getaway car maneuvers in this kind of attire.

I work with many and depends how the woman wears them, many are different You have to turn you head much more to check a blind spot. The woman admitted to the police because of her niqab or veil she did not see the child. Do you drive or know about checking a blind spot before proceeding?

usually when you tazer someone and they die it was because they were about to have a heart-attack anyway. In other cases it was because they had undiagnosed cancer and were about to drop dead anyway. They don't know if someone has an underlying condition. This is another reason why tasers should ONLY be used in a situation where they would normally have to resort to a gun.

You have 24 deaths in Canada that occurred during or after tasering. It's easy to see if tasers kill: compare how many people die from being grabbed and cuffed (not including clubbed in the head) vs being tasered.
