I made this transfer from NJT (and before that EL/NJDOT and EL) Comet coaches pulled by U34CH's onto Path to 34th St. as a kid with my dad. I remember the stations in Northern NJ (Ho-ho-kus, Ridgewood, Glen Rock), the way Radburn and Rutherford were announced, the sound of the U34CH's accelerating, the smell of the brakes, the view coming over the meadowlands, entering into this platform area, hot dogs at Hoboken terminal, the waiting room, the stairways, path tunnels, squeaky brakes...
