  • Whats for dinner?...Yes the sheep is dinner...force and aggression are tools of tyrants.Seems you are giving this gentleman an education Mr Kokesh:)..taxes pay the debt.

  • A whole herd of sheep... Will trample... ...The Wolf.

Hahahaha, that was solid gold. It's interesting to see that the trend amongst socialists like this clown is that they are complete failures. They lost at the game of Capitalism, so they want people to hand them wealth.

Flash back to Kindergarten and you'll see the same mentality. "My toy got broken so I want a NEW toy, or, I want to break everybody's toys so none of us have them".

  • @CaliforniaCarpenter7 or, hey how come he got a present on his birthday but i dont get one too?

  • Our Economic system needs a reset.

  • Adam lays the smack down!.. the guy is clueless.

  • Damn that guy has no clue, he needs to wake up.

  • To this fool's defense, most people have never been exposed to the idea that democracy has any flaws at all. It would be unrealistic to expect anything more intelligent out of the majority than this. But I think Kokesh did an amazing job at interviewing this guy. His 'man on the street' socratic dialogues outdo anything on major news channels and cut right to the central issues in our society today. Kokesh... TV needs you way, way more than you need them.

  • This guy does not understand what a republic is supposed to be maybe it is this twisted view on what America is supposed to be why ron paul can't get a landslide people need to read the constitution and bill of rights

  • SCHOOLED!!

  • If you are LDS and voting for Romney or Huntsman because you assume they are God's Chosen, I invite you to revisit your Book of Mormon an remind yourselves that it was written for our benefit in this day. Then, remind yourselves of the lessons it teaches about taxation, the role of government leaders, defensive-only wars, agency and natural consequences. THEN research the candidates. You will find that Ron Paul is THE ONLY CANDIDATE who supports all these principles.

  • The guy in the video is having a problem understanding legitimate and legitimized.

  • Wow.

  • Hello my names Kevin and i am a MORON........

  • I've been to some of these, and people like this are actually pretty common.

  • thank god for the second amendment

  • Adam Kokesh the cherry picker of the year.

  • 'free market' sounds nice, but in practice its destructive and unsustainable. We've had several crisis, a sick planet and massive social inequalities as a result of 'free markets'. Its the freedom to put profit over people and ecology.

  • 0:48 - "Capitalism exists for the accumulation of individual wealth, it has nothing to do with society". Sorry, I don't hear one thing wrong with that statement. Socialist principals are far more prevelant and popular amongst this occupy crowd than I thought it would be. Very scary stuff.

    Very well done, Adam.

  • Individualism as portrayed by right wing republicans is a farce to maintain the status quo. Its immoral to profit from society then decide not to pay your fair share. Individualism as portrayed by Adam is ignorant to the positive role and benefits of society. Without them, Adam would be worse off than a tramp in India.

  • @SocialSC You obviously don't understand individualism. There is nothing immoral about it. Tyranny of the majority is immoral.

    "society" =/= the state

  • @sheepOG The discipline of team learning starts with "dialogue," the capacity of members of a team to suspend assumptions and enter into a genuine "thinking together." To the Greeks [this] meant a free-flowing of meaning through a group, allowing the group to discover insights not attainable individually. [Emphasis added].

  • @SocialSC Are you trying to make as vague a response as possible? Anyway, you're the one assuming that actual individualism (not corporate welfare) maintains the status quo, whatever that means in your world. You're the one assuming that it's moral for the state to steal (and waste) wealth from individuals, at gunpoint. Please suspend your assumptions!

  • @sheepOG The Industrial Revolution was an individualist revolution; it benefited individuals. The Occupy movement is a collectivist revolution; it aims to win economic equality for the 99% who constitute the middle classes and working poor. Adam, like many, is institutionalised in an individualist system that is immoral, it puts 'me' before 'we' no matter what the cost.

  • @SocialSC There would be economic equality for them in a free market. They'd all have equal chances. We no longer have a free market though: we have corporatism, thanks to all the fascists the people voted into office. Collectivism is not the answer, because it doesn't help society, it just helps the state. If people were allowed to keep more of their money (say there was no Fed and thus no inflation tax, say the state stopped wasting so much money), they'd be more charitable. State =/= society.

  • @sheepOG The days of individualistic egocentrism, which characterized the long economic boom following the savings-and-loan crisis of the early 1990s, are over. They have been supplanted by the moral principle of the greater good. We’ve gone from Gordon Gekko’s “Greed is good” to John Nash declaring in A Beautiful Mind, “Adam Smith was wrong!”

  • @SocialSC Indeed, Adam Smith was wrong. He was for state intervention. That's what we have now. What do you think bailouts are? Subsidies? Tax-exemptions for big business (not the small ones of course!)? Inflation? Progressive income tax? He called taxes a "badge of liberty"! ;-P Individualism is not the problem, the state is the problem. It creates and sustains monopolies instead of destroying them, as you can see today, and is the primary cause of the current excess of greed and gluttony.

  • @sheepOG Individualism makes societies thrive.

  • @tangledweb79, freethe worker. Youtube won't post- pending approval or "ewrrror". I need this like I need an STD. Sod off you silly boob tube censor. Eat merde & die

  • every comment on this video is a reply to another comment

  • Despite being wrong the guy was a good-natured sport about the whole thing.

  • i used to have the impression that kokesh was way too in-your-face about being anti-establishment but i've since reconsidered. the way he deals with misinformed people is brilliant and i've learned a lot from watching his interviews. all he has to do is ask thoughtful questions that makes people REALLY think, and he chimes in once in a while when they're at their weakest. i'll have to use that when talking to people about ron paul

  • @wunderbeast It's called the 'socratic method'.

  • Yeah, good work man. Saved me a trip to ny to see whats up

  • You're doing a fantastic job Adam!

  • He got it right at the end, I do in fact enjoy this youtube channel!

  • You never pointed out how a tax free state would work.

  • Kevin is not nearly as intelligent as he is smug, which seems common among the Occupiers.

  • "I s'pose... ehhh"

    LOL.

  • I think I have a new favorite channel. First dancing around the Jefferson memorial, now injecting common sense into the occupy wall street movement - I feel like I've come home.

  • Adam... take it easy on the poor knuckle head.

  • You can not have a non-democratic libertarian society, nor can you have a democracy where the whims of the masses are enforced upon you in a libertarian society.

And Adam Kokesh what you presented are not the ideas of a republic, a republic is a specific system of governance and representation under a code of law, and there is NO guarantee that such a system of government will represent you or that the law will protect you. A republic could very well serve an oligarchy, as ours now does.

  • You don't own yourself you are yourself. Claiming to own yourself is defining yourself as a commodity. You are not a commodity, you are a person, and any system that would treat you as a commodity instead of a person doesn't deserve your participation. There is another system, and I'm not talking about socialism or communism, I'm talking about Worker Self Management.

Worker Cooperatives are what happens when workers go to work for themselves in a democratic work place, and it works very well.

  • Capitalism and the Free Market are two separate things. If you want to see what economic justice looks like watch this video.

    watch?v=neNwAZSBMb0

Also this man is not the best representative of the movement, and Jefferson didn't factor in Constitutional Democracy, and we live in a Democratic Republic that has been hijacked by Oligarchy.

  • I wonder if this looney toon knows what a constitutional republic is....

  • This dude is so fucking stupid, he only has 1 brain cell left, so he need to wear a hard hat at all times to protect it.

  • He forgets that jailing people takes money away from the society!

He also forgets that a few individuals can disagree and not follow conformity bull, and have no negative impact, also his argument assumes that the person in question for which his "social conscious" gets the benefits of said institutions.

In other words,I don't want your kool-aid,and god help you if you try to make me drink it.

  • I want to join that guys UNION damn get paid to remove all doubt to his intellect

Wolves and a Sheep, RIGHT over his head

  • @19independentminded6 Freaking epically funny bro

  • The only thing that was missing from that was the smoke pouring out of his ears as the gears in his brain overheated.

  • Next, if you really want to be liberated from the social demands of "reciprocation," then you should be equally willing to leave society. No safety nets, no roads, no resources. Good luck. I'm all for letting you have a quiet piece of land somewhere trying to survive on your own. No taxes because you won't have income and you won't be buying anything. Good luck with that.

  • Adam,

First, it's interesting how you don't notice that existing laws to protect those with wealth and property are unfair and undemocratic. If people can only "vote" with their dollars in the realm of business, then those with fewer dollars get fewer votes. Second, you turn the situation around to say how you would be imposed upon if you don't want tax laws. How about how you impose upon society, use its resources and infrastructure for your gain but feel no responsibility in return.

  • Typical joe-six pack thats only half paying attention to whats going on in between wacthing football & baseball in all his free time.. hey kevin, turn the TV off and read a few books to educate yourself on whats really going on in the USA and the world for that matter.. you seem like a nice guy but youre clueless.

  • LOL What a classic fucking idiot!

  • please do this more often adam our nation needs to know y they shouldnt be a democrat

  • Kokesh is great at debating, but I guess its pretty easy to debate when you are clearly right. Still, I like how he drives their train of thought towards the tunnel of enlightenment.

  • I should add I'm probably somewhere between the interviewer and the interviewee here.

  • It's a little unfair to expect this guy to have the entire plan for some future society all worked out. Adam is very bright and asks some important questions, but his ideas that no one gets to force any ideas on anyone else would be negated by his own Libertarian ideology, if put into practice.

  • I love Adam and Ron Paul, but the privatization of society is ridiculous.

  • It is sad when people are lost. We have a slight idea of the perfect world but still each one of us see it the way each one of us want to see it. Sometime we are so lost that we do not know what we want to see in perfect world.

Just an idea for perfect life --- in our universe planet per one person or if you lucky to find perfect life partner planet for two !

  • hes like durf de durf dee durfff

  • 2 wolfs and a sheep watdya talkin bout get outta here

  • You do great work Adam!!

  • Wow. I'm sad for this guy.

  • "When free market principles are applied to health care industry, you really have no chance"

    HAHAHAHA OH WOW

He really thinks the current health care system is free market capitalism.

  • He didn't even get a simple analogy for democracy (which I've never met anyone that didn't pick up on that right away), but we should listen to him on how he thinks we should run our country??? Get the fuck outta here. Too many pissed off dumb people in #OWS

  • Wow, this officially does it for me. These people are idiots. We should decide who gets what through democracy??? So, other people should have control over what I have access to? Fuck these idiots, they know nothing of freedom. They say democracy but what they mean is socialism.

  • adam is doing a good job proving people dont know what they want. Sheep as usual.

  • goverment spending got us into this mess not taxes or anything it started with bush it will end with obama

  • I /almost/ feel bad for that guy you were interviewing. I think he's one of those people who feel let-down and perhaps disenfranchised by the current system, and he wants to change things but doesn't really know how to make REAL change. - Because he doesn't understand where the REAL problems are coming from. I hope he took this as an educational moment, and a clue that he needs to look deeper into what he really stands for. There are a lot of people like that.

    Good job, Adam.

  • Big government education at it's finest! How sad is it that nobody even knows what kind or how our government is supposed to work!!!

  • Poor bastard is uneducated!!!

  • In a soldier’s stance, I aimed my hand

At the mongrel dogs who teach

Fearing not that I’d become my enemy

In the instant that I preach

My pathway led by confusion boats

    Mutiny from stern to bow

Ah, but I was so much older then

    I’m younger than that now

  • This whole conversation reminds me of the movie, Tim Machine. The question is who are the Eloi's and who are the Morlocks?

  • Adam, I have watched a lot of the online and traditional coverage of the movement, and I would like to say, your work is the best. Keep it up!

  • America was Liberated into a Republic,not a Democracy:

    An American Form of Government

    /watch?v=Ei7Xv_Z0tgI

PS-The Wolves are the ones blowing down peoples Houses

PSS-The majority is usually uneducated, dishonest, lazy, uncaring, and part of the Mob/Monarchy.-Thats why they are ruled by the elite, their part of the Pyramid Pecking Order of Fascism.

  • Democracy=mob rule. Simple as that.

  • Thank God we live in a Constitutional Republic!

  • ...there is nothing to check the inducements to sacrifice the weaker party or an obnoxious individual. Hence it is that such democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.

  • ... and to the REPUBLIC... for which IT Stands... not that that means anything to ME... but do you US citizens even have a clue about your own 'alleged' nation's declarations and constitutions?... not that THOSE mean anything to me either.. but what is it these people are even DOING out there? Do THEY even know who THEY themselves are? I was given a hand written note signed by 9 folks at an occupation asking me to leave, in the name of 'demockery'... BAAAA

  • this tool hat is a real wingnut for sure... you cant MAKE this stuff up

  • I really hope this guy sits down and thinks about what Adam said to him u have to brainwashed to honestly think a majority vote should infringe on peoples rights look at what happened in Germany when the minority had their rights infringed upon

  • Believes in.....

  • @bebreezin Adam clearly stated that he believes on individual freedom and responsibility as opposed to true democracy in which 51% forces a way of life on 49%

  • So, does the interviewer want to state how he thinks things should be run? Or just attack this guy in a cowardly way?

  • The last question was excellent.

  • A health care system in the States? F good luck.

In Canada it works to a point ,dentists are still able to cop-out though.

    Otherwise you get help.

  • people are just so uninformed and confused by what's going on because of the biased education system at young age and the enforced biased media throughout adulthood. it's really sad.

  • Since the OWS protests started I have been waiting for the right message, the right central point, the right shift of ideas to surge so I can be confident that me joining was in good CONSEQUENCE.

So far I have seen no central point, a grasp at MORE government, homage to MORE taxation, MORE socialism, MORE state intervention, MORE of the status quo.

So I'll keep waiting until a true FREE MARKET message takes hold. Till then, no dice.

  • Great debate/interveiw, Adam.

  • cool that the guy took the interview. however, it just gives us another look at how pathetically desperate and uninformed the OWSers are. they want socialism - plain and simple. this guy wasn't the typical OWS dirt bag, B.O. hippy, but his views are the same. God help us all...

  • Such a collectivist mindset... Us, we....

I liked how you handled it Adam. good vids.

  • The guy in the in the hard hat, is dumber than a box of rocks. Adam was asking real easy questions, that my 16 yr old niece could answer them without hesitation.

  • This is a good example of the problems created by not withholding judgment when you don't know the facts.

  • all Democracy's lead into an oligarchy. Just watch that one you tube video. "a republic if you can keep it".

  • After we vote on a system of economics are we going to vote on a system of physics too? Because gravity is really a pain in the ass sometimes.

  • watch?v=Cb918cLPq7k&feature=related

  • Adam is The Man.

  • Educating them one-at-a-time on how to think, will take forever, but it makes for amusing videos :-)

  • Adam, Great job, yet again, forcing people to question their ideas and theories through logic. You could have made a fortune in the sales industry. So glad you chose alternative news! I love watching people have that light bulb come on over their head when they know what is being said is true... This guy's was a little dim, but at least it was there! He certainly has some food for thought. Keep up the great work!

  • @ Tangled web- like ur SN! Funny. Hey Adam did his best. Guy had attention span of a tree ring. Reliable sources say his village called & wants their idiot back. Stay high :D

  • @foucault1020 Roger that.

  • LOL, this is the way you educate the public. The poor guy is just learning, all this is new to him.

  • ggod job adam i saw you speak in washington in july 2008 great speech man

  • Right On Adam............

  • In high school, the hard-hat guy was the one who always had a comic book rolled up in his back pocket and he was always chewing gum. He couldn't tell you what the significance of things like DEC 7th or JUL 4th etc

  • Separation of bank and state

  • I wish Adam would interview a knowledgeable proponent of a resource based economy..

  • I thought he might be a construction worker. Turns out that hardhat is one of those retard helmets.

  • That guy was a good sport about the whole thing. It's rare to find someone with his ideals that is willing to debate that long without just giving up and resorting to ad hominem attacks or attempting to derail the debate entirely.

  • @ArgosSmith2009 Great analogy!

  • @ArgosSmith2009 Bingo my friend, this movement is exactly what the globalists want, it plays right into their hands. One world Government, one world currency, and total control of the people

  • @thecandidbull That is a worry for this movement, as with any mainstream movement. The Tea Party movement is a good example of how ideas can be co-opted and twisted. BUT, OWS is not co-opted right now. It's to be expected that mainstream people spout out MS bullshit (left or right) as if it is the holy truth. That is why we awake & aware people that are comfortable talking about non-MS ideas go to these gatherings and talk to people that are open to listening.

  • @ArgosSmith2009 All good points, lets keep getting the word out there my friend before its too late for all of us..

  • Comment removed

  • @MsHorrified Being a regular guys isn't an excuse when he is advocating violence against people that just want to be left alone.

  • Now this is the business - this guy is saying it as it it - check out the vid - if you dare- .youtube.com/watch?v=2Z1XOBDbIy0

  • Try not to say 'I believe ...' or 'You do not have the right to ...' . Your opinion may actually be objective, but it will sound like it is you subjective opinion. Just show the inconsistencies in his reasoning by Socratic questioning. You can make your point that way, and it will sound objective. Listen to stefs podcasts.

  • Now about the money - to be clear - the US has over 40,000,000 people living below the poverty line - that's a lot of people - u also have god knows how many millions who feel disenfranchised - well it was all ok whilst people had a future or could pretend that they mattered - well now they know they don't - so they will rise up because the state is trying to squeeze every single penny it can from them to maintain the status quo-but it will fail because there is no more money

  • @faithnotneeded The government for the most part does not provide a "police force". Day to day crime fighting is done by cops employed by cities and states. The FBI hardly do shit but collect fat paychecks and do drug busts to collect money for the government. IF the entire federal government disappeared tomorrow, there would still be Law And Order provided by state and local law enforcement.

  • It really is amusing how many people there are who think everything is just going to go on as before - let me explain - they lost all of the money - was that clear? How about - there is no money left-or perhaps - there isn't enough money in the world to cover all of the debts they artificially created - no that won't do - how about - they created so much debt that there isn't and can never be enough money in our lifetime or that of our kids and their kids to pay it off-meaning austerity forever

  • Occupy wall street is just the beginning - it's what happens when a mass of disenchanted people try to peacefully change things. Next the opposition groups will send in their people to belittle the movement so they don't lose their followers - the state will send in their own people to spread disinformation and to cause a breakdown in the peaceful nature of the protests - Next will come the violence - and then it will all depend how many people are hurting under the present conditions

  • And as for democracy being 2 wolves and a sheep deciding what's for diner - what a load of tosh - Democracy used to work - to a degree - now it is owned and run by the corporations who own the politicians - it's a return to the dark ages - the tea party isn't a solution - it's just another version of the same old system - Adam - look at Greece - that's what happens when the people finally sus out that everything is broken -

  • @Albionshousecarl America IS NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN a democracy. The USA IS a constitutional republic and there IS a big difference. The sad thing is the average voter does not even know what the difference is between a republic and a democracy. The constitution was suppose to Protect us from a democracy and protect individual rights and minorities. We have lost our republic because people have been dumbed down by government involvement in education. On top of it, parents are un-educated sheep.

  • @elitephpcoder That's probably because your politicians have gone about the world telling everyone that they have the best democracy in the world - they are never quoted saying they have the best constitutional republic - But that's all a moot - I believe your civil war did away with limiting federal power - I believe that the Confederacy was fighting to retain principles of the constitutional republic - but the yanks won so you have a corporation owned democracy

  • @Albionshousecarl Well, politicians in the US are all liars save one "Ron Paul". He may not be perfect but he is America's last hope for a return to constitutional rule and reversing the "police state" that is being imposed upon us. The important question to ask a US politician to know if they are on the side of the people or on the side of the NWO, is to ask them if they will by executive order audit the federal reserve banking CARTEL.

  • @elitephpcoder Amen Elite! I am so glad some people out there realize that this nation has always been and should always have remained a republic of individual states and a constitution to prevent tyranny....

  • Sorry to upset all you economic slaves - but the system is broken - they lost all of the money - that's all of the money - ever single imaginary penny - they intend to take as much money as they can from the people to bale out the banks and hold up the governments - that's all your money and u will work forever to work off their debt whilst they live the life of riley - I wonder who the sheep really are

  • I enjoy Adam's YouTube channel...anyone else feel the same?

  • Paul/Kokesh 2012!!

  • God job Adam, keep pounding sense into these people.

  • Hard Hat guy...you contradicted yourself a few times there. Two wolves and a sheep, just keep repeating that to yourself over and over.

  • This guy wants socialism and doesn't know it

  • This is typical. Most people like this gentleman have become so accustomed to parroting political platitudes and buzzwords that they have never found a need to closely examine the roots of the cliches they espouse. Movements like OWS arise from a culture that has no patience or aptitude for introspect or internalized analysis.

  • The people suck, fuck hope!

  • Damn. Adam owned that dude. Talk about getting an education. Lol

  • This guy was definitely left with some things to think about. I appreciate that he was willing to be interviewed and open with his positions. People shouldn't insult him, that will only push people further away. This was a good discussion.

  • @1775novten good point.

  • @1775novten Yup... you could see the gears turning and breaking the machinery of ideas he had.

  • @humanhiveanomaly

Adam was screwing with his mind. hehe

  • @kalidesu - No, he is not screwing with his mind, he is educating him.

  • @BeatleEDs

    Still it's fun to see

  • @kalidesu - Yes it is

  • Adam...im adam too..and as you so politely displayed here..its obvious many of tghese people have no concept of what our country was founded on or where it should go..this clown here apparently likes the "system" the way it is..because it sounded kind of like he was describing our basic system as it stands...weird..i thought these people wanted CHANGE.

  • Adam I think you needed to dumb it down for him a little bit, I thought I saw him drooling out the mouth.

  • He laughs when he knows he is wrong.

Adam keeps having battles of ideas with an unarmed men.

  • Here Adam shows he will stick it to any man ;)

  • Uhh- Adam is right on. He's articulate. Nemo problemo but Americans have the electronic attention span of tree rings ATM. Sort a like an electronic lobotamy.Kidz point & klik reel good as do monkeys. Germany made Jewish a criminal offense. "I was following orders.." is a non-idiomatic German translation. Germany was being lawful when it started its mechanised death centres. Nazi railroaders workers;point, click & their Jewish cargo was presto- chango, relocated. In accordance c/ the law.

  • Is this dude drunk? Ugh.. this movement is kinda infuriating to see the sheer amount of people that don't know what they're talking about.

Thank god for Adam educating these people.

  • I think he was confused by the last question. I would have phrased it slightly different: "Is there any point at which a majority [is justified in] doing things that would be unethical for an individual to do?"

I know that changes the meaning, but I think it may be more to the point of what you were getting at. Or perhaps you could just follow up the original question with "Is it ever just?"

  • Doesn't seem as though this good gentleman has thought out his arguments, nor indeed why he is protesting in the first place. Guess thought comes after action.

  • Why do I feel like I'm watching a martial arts movie from the 70s ?

  • This is painful to watch. I'm embarrassed for Kevin.

  • Comment removed

  • @ByTruthImFree

Poor Kevin isn't stupid. It's just he's never come across a libertarian before, and that experience has struck him from an angle he's never seen. He's probably used to debating conservatives and can joust with them well, but libertarians AREN'T conservatives and this experience has definitely rattled his cage and might even force him to re-evaluate all his preconceived notions.

But ***all of we libertarians were in Kevin's shoes once. THIS is the power of the libertarians.

    .

  • These people are so used to mindlessly chanting slogans and so unused to explaining the meanings of the words they use, you can almost hear the rusty gears in their brains squealing in protest as they turn. Mindless sheep.

  • .

“The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.”

    -Winston Churchill

    .

  • @RonPaulRevolution4u Great quote and apropos for this video.

  • @ByTruthImFree

Lol. Thanks. I thought some people might get a kick out of that classic quote.

  • Quite an apt quote.

Democracy assumes an informed voting populace, this seldom exists. With the introduction of mass media, pervasive measures of information controlled by even fewer sources has created a society where only a duopoly exists.

It seems many protesters have a valid dispute, but their conclusions are the problem; not the solution. One wonders what society they envisage, where the same Govt. which goes to war for profit will somehow adopt a populist compassion. From Russia with love
