@scrapmassa I have 3 and I have only been nipped once. I only put them in their cage between 8pm-8am. I think being in their cage too long really takes a toll on them. They get antsy and become anxious.

@electriceater They don't smell if you bathe them like once a week. I do it while I'm in the shower and it only takes like 5 min to ring them out lol. Just make sure you get ferret shampoo!

XD we used to play with him with our feet when we first got him, which is probably why he thinks feet are the enemy, and instantly yips and jumps around when you get close lol. Socks = mini ferret puppets.

Pet store usually, ranging betwene 50$ and 150$, usually youc an get a cage and one for about 100$ if you get a good deal, they are a lot of fun, make sure they are de-scented and neutered first before you buy one.

Descenting is not essential - far from it. Removing the scent glands does not alter a ferret's natural scent, but it can lead to serious health complications in later life. Here in Europe, ferrets are rarely descented, in fact it's illegal in the UK.

Yeah I don't think ours was de-scented, we took him to the vet and they said he wasn't. I think most pet stores do it by default though
