I'm just curious why people on youtube are so interested and amazed by fire alarm panels. Can someone answer that for me. I am a fire/burg alarm technician and I know my panels and devices but this isn't something I would do for fun and amusement. Are you a tech azman? I guess I could see how the average youtube user could be amazed by all the big flashing strobe lights and loud horns.
Why dont u put a louder alarm like your U-MMT ( If it has the option to be set on 110cd) or get one of the new model U-HNHs that have selectable cd? Some U-HNHs like the U-HNH-C or U-HNH-MCS have 100db output.
Whats so bad about a 100db horn/strobe? I can tell its 100db because the one you have is the ealy version. The new version is 96dbs and has fire written next to the horn opening unlike the early version.
Um, do you have a key for that panel?

I have the same panel, but when i press silence nothing happens. What section did you wire the horn into compared to the strobe?

I don't know it just comes out everytime you pull it but when you reset it, it just goes back up

The one that says 'Activated'? That is just telling you that this is the pull station that was pulled.
