If L4D3 was going to come out one day, it wouldn't even be a proper first party exclusive anyway as Microsoft have nothing to do with Valve and EA. And if Gears 4 was being made, it could potentially go to different platforms if Epic Games found a new publishing partner, but Microsoft aren't likely to let one of their biggest exlusives run away anytime soon, at least not before new consoles come out.

You clearly don't understand why this happened. The rights to MGS aren't owned by Sony therefore they can't dictate what systems it goes to, it was Kojima who wanted it to be a PS franchise, not Sony.

Halo literally can't go to the PS3, because Microsoft own the property and they'd be idiots to sell the rights to one of their biggest franchises to a major rival. Same with certain Sony exclusives, Uncharted for example will never be on 360 as long as Sony own it.

Dont think that just becuase YOU like MGS that it's the best gaming series ever. Sales speak higher than anything else unfortunately. they took snake out which isn't good, but... they can stil pull this game off if they keep the same gameplay and dont turn it into just another 1st or 3rd person shooter, there isn't much out there that can compete with MGS but it wont be able to compete with COD, battlefield etc... it won't be able to compete with any other game unless its kept in its comfort zone which is the gatagory of MGS and MGS2 because snake isn't ther to keep long term fans playing, don't fix what isn't broken!!!

Kojima did not say that MGS4 was the end of Solid Snake...he said that he would continue the story when he felt that Snake could come back in full force. And if you know anything about MGS-you know that even after death, the story continues. I don't think we have seen the last of the famous Solid Snake.

Played the orginal Metal Gear 1-2 which came with MGS3 Suibstance or whatever it's called :P

so, i tried MGS1 to get the story they where talking about on MGS2, i realized that the first MGS game had a much better and tragic story than 2, the 2 had the best gameplay in my opinion.

I don't know if realising on Xbox is a bad idea, as long as the game is good then i don't care, MGS2 was on PS2 and Xbox :)

And they where good games, on both consoles :)
