I found a used 7" of you guys, like, five years ago. I've always been curious where you're from exactly. I'm from coastal Monmouth County, and this area breeds a decent amount of hardcore bands. Any comments?
hey there --this is kevin, drummer. me, dan, ian, & pat are from freehold boro &attended freehold boro hs, tho pat entered the engineering program at manalapan. the other kevin went to cba, but he's from colts neck. thank god for wfmu, cos back in the late 80s it was pretty hard to find out about hardcore &punk music... we all lived pretty close to Rt537, but within a span of 10 miles--once i got a car i started driving us to pt pleasant, abc no rio, the pipeline, asbury park, trenton..ciao!
we were from NJ, and this show was near 39th and Lancaster in Philly around sept '94, maybe oct, and it was our last. this song is called medicine, and is one of the early ones. it's on our first 7" and the cd.
they were from vt? it's cool to see hardcore emo bands this long ago. i new it existed but it's cool to see it on video. It seems a lot more real and heartfelt than most bands today. thanks for posting.
Was this the last Iconoclast show with Avail in Philly? I brought the soccer balls to that show.
