EMS is a great prespective for the healthcare issue. It really brings the urgency to light in a way that so many people don't care about until its gone.

But there is such a problem here socially. I've talked to British medcis before, and they say that despite the two different healthcare systems, there are just way more people absuing the 911 system here than there, which seems like a problem without a solution.

TThe same problem is definately not just in Los angeles to be nice and clear. UCLA Santa Monica is way overcrowded. every 20-30seconds, another patient is brought to UCLA Santa Monica. 1 day I ended up sitting outside the ambulance bay waiting for someone. Very interesting. Thanks for posting this!

But just so you know, and this is true. Believe it or not. Obama's health care plan is actually going to make this worse on everyone.

is this documentary mainly about my FD? and if so is it mostly footage of the LAFD?

The film is entirely shot with the LAFD and at LA hospitals, but it suggests that this is a national phenomenon with fire departments across the country experiencing the same challenges..

Thanks for replying to everyone's comments. This looks like a quality film, and like brettslawnservice, I really can't want to see this movie. Please keep us updated on when the film will be release and which cities this film may be showing. Or even better yet, some sort of petition that we can sign. California will have a major earthquake, it's a fact. We got to change the system before it's too late. Great movie you got here!
