Awesome piece. Thanks for sharing. in the future could you play it at a 72? IT would make it easier to pick out. Had a lot of fun learning this piece, non the less.
One aspect of the playing to note is that in the start you are lifting your finger off the E on A string to get to the A on the D string, in the music the E lasts the whole bar. To acheive this you have to use your first finger to bar the E and the A as well as later on the B and E. You can see this in the John Williams version.
this isnt true , the E in the first part does not last the whole bar, it is only one time. on the other hand the B on the second part does last the whole bar or 6 times. The original sheet music displays it like this.
You'll need to use pim when the first triplets come in and then move to pia when you're playing on the g and e strings. Hope this helps... there's also a breakdown on our site... or write to me.
Dear gokuo64, the original version is for grand piano. Albeniz was a composer and pianist. Funnily though, most of his pieces evoke the Spanish guitar
I'm practecing this song for a week now and i'm happy to play the melody. But tell me how do you do the sound on the B-String with the third (annualry) finger?
I'm afraid I don't understand the question? Do you mean is the piece difficult to play? The answer is so/so. To learn, it's not so difficult... to master, yes it is.
@pinkfloydbeatles I found it to be incredibly easy to learn but it does take time to get a smooth transition between sections because of the speed. Easy enough anyways.
@pinkfloydbeatles its quite easy bro you gotta practice pima i usually start up using pim pi pm pi pm so on its only about how hard you wanna learn it they're are tab on the internet man its a matter of looking i got my buddies dad to teach me to play i can pretty much play anything now
Yes, this is just a sample from it. You can get it free by going to our site and getting on the newsletter... The original version was for the Piano, written by Albeniz. However it is inspired by Spanish themes and therefore by the guitar.... After hearing it being played on the guitar, Albeniz himself declared that it sounded better than on the piano. I hope this answers your question. If not let me know.

No the indexio, finger.( I can't get the melody right though.)

senor118 , corection I have been told that you need to alternate i m on the B string.
agostino56 3 years ago
this is true, you should be alternating fingers i and m in order to speed it up and have clearance on your performance

Thanks, I love this song but I think the full song is much longer isn't it?
Also, I've seen different tabbed versions of this posted online. How can I tell which is the original version? Thanks!
