  • Amazing... my favorite movie..

  • This is a brilliant rendition of a classic scene...It was excellent...

  • After watching this, I now realise how difficult acting is to pull off and how good the actors were in the film.

  • @spida777 And the year: 1957.

  • @brunofujii Why you mention the year?

  • @spida777 It was kind of a break through if you imagine that 99% the movie was stared at one room and the main subject (murder) had deeply philosophy nuances — much like "Rear Window", but directed differently. This is why (not only that) I think it's a very underrated movie.

  • brilliant....

  • Genius! Lee J. Cobb lives.

  • AWESOMEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

    lol. not guilty....

  • This was amazing- I love this movie SO much.

  • actually, you did a good impression. but I didn't get the feeling that you actually meant the words. just my personal feeling. maybe because it's been done so great in the actual movie

  • This is pretty extraordinary. I've seen your clips before and have always been impressed, but I just found this one, and Cobb is one of my favorite actors, one of the greatest actors to ever draw breath, and you nailed it. It's uncanny how much you sound like him. Incidentally, I see that you went to Towson. I did as well, graduated in '09. Kudos on all the videos man, but know that this one is very special to me. Lee J. Cobb would have been impressed.

  • can i have your talent?

  • Fantastic. One of the best films ever. The best scene of the film. And you nailed it, spot on.

  • That was pretty good. However I thought you lacked a convincing feeling of anger. You can't pretend to be angry, you must BE angry.

  • Great job man. Keep it up.

  • Excellent performance of this great scene.

  • I think Lee J. Cobb is proud

  • Great !

  • Good. But Cobb's performance was beyond great. It's almost unbelievable how great the movie is.

  • you need to study Shakespeare in England..yeckon you'd be good at it.

  • Youdid an amazing job! I saw this in english and i was so amazed on how good you did :D

  • Great job! Timed perfectly, emphasized perfectly. Liked it a lot.

  • Awesome

  • Awesome job..

  • This film is awesome. Higly recommending to watch

  • EXCELLENT !!!!

  • You are an inspiration to big guys everywhere.

  • Bravo !

  • Very nicely done.

  • That guy had convincing argument. I mean they found a similar knife that the defendant had. Not only that but he was at the hotel room PLUS A WITNESS who said she heard EVERYTHING.

  • "I bet 5,000 dollars" Long time ago...

  • superb - 12 Angry men was one of fav films -- good job

  • Fact: 12 Angry men was mostly filmed in one room. 95% of it to be exact!

  • Excellent re-creation of of LJ Cobb's genius performance, Bravo!

  • Really.. Really good... I mean.. Uh what do you say..Really.. GOOD!

  • Pretty good. My only suggestion as I'm a big fan of this movie and have seen it many times is that you don't act angry enough. Remember the name of the movie is "Twelve ANGRY men" and Cobb was the angriest! You have the voice down for the most part but now you need the attitude. Good job at the end as well when you ripped out the picture.

  • That would have been a really hard one to do, watched this last night. Awesome job.

  • It gave me chills!(:

  • Juror #3, very nice job.

  • very good job and not an easy impersonation to do. I tried doing it myself but just can't seem to get it right. The movie is one of the best I ever saw and its all in one room! They could never duplicate this kind of talent today. For example if they Do a Biblical Movie they still have their california surfer dude or brooklyn accents.

  • Yeah, it's a fantastic scene, one of many, in a wonderful film. Good job. Cobb just yells most of his lines near the ending.

  • Great impression, one of my favourite of yours.

  • Great job! I had to laugh, you did such a good impression of Lee J. Cobb. That dialog was my favorite of the entire movie.

I saw 12 Angry Men as a kid shortly after it came out.

In High School in 1963 our English class read the entire dialog, each student taking turns in doing different charcter's dialog. This one movie I never seem to get tired of.

  • Man, if you died your hair grey - you'd be a DEAD RINGER for Lee J. Cobb!

  • Excellent job.

  • Juror # 3

  • Yep - one of your best - keep them comming dude

  • I just heard this play of this on NPR tonight & decided to see if there was anything on YouTube about it. Let me tell you, from what I heard, Artie's portrayal is spot on & beautify executed. Good job to you Mr. Smith.

  • I saw this movie more than 100 times. You are really great!!!!

  • Dude, this is your best piece. well done!

    H

  • Very, Very good! This is an excellent take. I will use it as I study my lines for this play. The director changed it to 12 Angry Jurors (to include women).

  • this is my favorite of all -

  • great movie, great take.

  • ough case. I would have voted the kid guilty since he either did commit the murder or had the shittiest luck on the face of the planet in all of history. Everything was against him: his record, him buying a switchblade, him not remembering a single title of a movie he saw on the day of the murder (ridiculous; he has no alibi), him screaming "I'm gonna kill you." I'm sorry, but he had had it coming. He was guilty. In real life this trial would only go one way.

  • @redarrowhead2 Still there was reasonable doubt: the old man actually hearing it with the train roaring by, the old man reaching the door and seeing the boy running down the stairs in 15 seconds, the women who testified without her eyeglasses, the shop owner who said the knife was one of its kind, the jurors who were biased.

  • @OneOfAKindDonut There is not much of a reasonable doubt in my mind that he did do it. I know I'm probably alone in this, but if this wasn't a movie and the outcome wasn't obvious, I'd vote him guilty.

  • @redarrowhead2 you can not convict a killer whether he is a killer or not, if there is doubt.......If there is doubt...just one...just one reasonable one.....just one...they found like 10 in the movie...

  • not bad

  • great job my man!!!!!!!!

  • i thought this was going to be another idiot trying to imitate a great legend....this guy is frigging wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great job my man!!!!

  • I thinks this is very impressive but to me it doesn't have the same tension... probably because you don't have the other actors to help you create that tension

  • That was some of the best acting I have ever seen man ur GOooooDDD!

  • you are talented but i think you know for years :)

this is perfect and you chose well. this scene is the most energetic and we can say this is the main part of the film.

  • best bits of this clip - 0.46 'you can't prove he didn't get to the door!' - 1.07 'twisted and turned...!' - 1.56 'I'm entitled to my opinion!'

    Mr Hardesty's pure genius

everybody must now lobby Brandon to do scenes from Gladiator; that would be perfect (just thinking about the late Oliver Reed's clips is already making me laugh!) come on Brandon - Maximus!! Maximus!!

and let's see something from 300 as well (I am Sparta!)

you are a really funny guy!

  • Brandon.. you're a genius

  • Ótima cana. Parabéns.

  • I love that movie! High five! *high-fiving sound*

  • It's amazing how, if you look in your eyes, the core of you seems terrified throughout, even though you seem like you're trying so hard to be assertive. To be honest, I thought it was a weakness in the acting...until the last line showed that the "flaw" was actually incredible acting. Excellent job!

  • omigawd! That was really good! I'm impressed of how well you did with that line. :)

  • Hey please do the scene from gladiator. I am Maximus scene...

  • great

    well done bro

  • Great work ArtieTSMITW

  • awesome job

  • Very well done! Jeeezz...

  • well done,.te saluto don Corleone!

  • while watching this scene in the movie i began to tear up! good job

  • I would love to see "SCARFACE"!

  • Well done! I'd love to see it in another 30 years when your face actually looks the part.

  • You should do Dr. Strangelove!!!

  • great job! really like this one. felt it.

  • Very nice ! Great work. <3

Just one remark : you're dancing on your feet a bit too much.

  • nice

  • man that was awsome and just like the movie bravo

  • that was good ... at the end though ... you didnt seem as angry and as frustrated as he was though ... a little too fast on the end too ... sorry ... not a critic but 12 angry men is my favourite movie ever

  • At first, when I started watching these lil reenactments, I thought they were a joke. Now they're just solid performances from solid films. This was by far one of the best.

  • Hey can you do9 Gregory Peck in To Kill a Mockingbird? When he was in the courtroom doing the trial? I think you would be good at that one.

  • I love the bleeding hearts part. Man you are good. I get the honor of watching this movie for extra credit in speech class. I have had to wirte a paper on it before. Good movie. Thanks for your version man.

  • Dude you are good.

  • .....can you do a reenactment part of the FBI boss getting upset at Johnny Uta (with surfboard under his arm) with his partner Papas in boss'es office, in "point break" movie? The boss goes like this: "Noooo, nooooo, nooo, nooo, let me tell you what you produced, you produced squat! SQUAT!! In the mean time, the X presidents have robbed 2 more banks!!! etc.

  • You should be an actor. You're very good. I though this was a joke but you're very good!

  • Man that was pretty good, very good actually

  • good job 5 stars

  • i was deciding whether or not to buy this. after watching your reenactment i've bought it online. awesome

  • I almost cried!

    so beautiful!

    5 stars

  • :O ....... *hits subscribe*

  • Attention All Youtube Users: If you do not have constructive or positive to say about someone (I mean, unless they do something blatantly stupid and deserving of such) do not say anything. Nice job!

  • I had to switch browsers to write this:

That was awesome :D Just like the whole movie

  • f awesome funny renactment

    very good

  • dude im in awe hahaha... that's so amazing... i'll be sure to keep an eye out for you in the years to come!

  • You do remind me of the actor in the film version. Something in your voice. That was pretty good.

  • bravo i give u 9/10

  • I played Juror #3 in a rendition of Twelve Angry Men(Jurors) and whenever I watch this video I sink back into the character and I say this entire monologue with you. Bravo.

  • good job !!

  • If you are not an employed actor, I say you are a narcissist with with way too much time on your hands watching old movies. Pick up Security + and get into IT. You will be able to display many scenes like in real life when you are defending your IT underlings. Trust me, real life in IT breeds a true actor.

  • I really loved that movie. It was a fantastic reenactment. I wouldn't call it great acting, but I suppose that has more to do with my philosophy on acting than on the skill of your reenactment.

  • My god, that was even better than the movie. I'm working on a scene from this play currently in my theatre class, and seeing you perform this gives me the confidence to know my scene will go very well.

  • wow!!! you are super talented! flawless...just like the real deal

  • Clap, clap, clap. Great job dude!

  • Well done.

  • That was friggin awesome, Every bit of it.

  • I love that play and movie! Great job.

  • i LOVE that film!! Fantasttic Reenactment!! :0)

  • I'm playing that part for my college. It's so fun! Except the ending is different.

  • You did really well. I think if the camera had been in a better position you could have used it more since you had to stay in a place where we could see.

Your acting is wonderful - I'm not questioning that. :) Your voice definitely suits a part like that.

  • Great job. Shame you lost the camera at the end.

  • Your Lee J. Cobb is impeccable! Spot on!

  • my theatre group did this last summer, myself play juror 8. such a fun piece, and it makes you feel incredibly smart bringing up all the conflicting evidence, haha. and you did a great job as 3, better than the guy we had.

  • this is unbeleivable i applaud you my friend.

  • bravooooo mate. good stuff

  • Yeah, if Lee were still around, he would be proud of you!

  • I love this movie!

    good job!

    :)

  • ive seen this movie and it was pretty good despite its lack of exploration, though a great performance indeed of reenactment.

  • I think you should have been more aggressive. Nonetheless, spectacular job.

  • I still think you are the Best! Great Audition! You are hired ! We can still work on your emotional "through-away" with yor wallet. But, other than that - you are in!

Like to see you in the next Stark Trek Movie! Good Luck, Pal.

    All the Best!

    Yours,

    Christian.

..... (Can we get our Girls together and Party?).

  • See, this movie drags in a good way.

  • @cookiesonsteve never thought of it that way, and its precise. drags on in a good way.

  • Bravo! Encore!

  • fuckin amazing

  • Excellent really excellent. Lee G Cobb was brilliant in that film, as were the others. You did really well with that difficult scene.

My ALL time favourite film bar none.

  • Superb!! You nailed that one! I loved it!!! Thank you.

  • That's talent.

  • Nice job, Brandon. Your stuff is always fun to watch.

  • almost fantastic.. maybe more foaming at the mouth like juror number X.... still good

  • OMG That's awesome. You nailed it dude.

  • well done

  • this was great. very well performed.

  • I was wondering if this scene is the same in the play???

  • yeah its a scene right out of the movie.

and wow man.. who R you? subbed!!!

  • Great performance! I liked it. However, you could have given a harder "lick" on the punch words .... you are hired! Hope you make it big in Hollywood. Yours, Christian D. Liedtke.

  • WoooooooooooO!

    Well done that man!

  • epic.

  • dude that was great! i just watched this movie in my film study class. AMAZING

  • Artie, you get the Lee J. Cobb re-enactment award for this performance. Well done!

  • im reading this in english class :D

    good job!

  • well done!!!

  • you're very good. in fact you're amazing.

  • damn good

  • One of my all time favorite movies... Your a brilliant actor and I wish you all the success in the world... I especially like the fact that you used the hand gestures as in the movie, it's a small but integral part, well done! Also a request the explanation scene from Clue. Again brilliant!

  • Excellent job!

  • Brandon, you should play this role in the re-make. Seriously!

  • this is better then the movie. i wish we had to watcht his a thousand times in english instead of the actual movie

  • This movie pwns. Your reenactment was good too.

  • You are good, really good. Lee J. Cobb would be proud of this performance. I love 12 Angry Men and Cobb, IMHO, is the most complex character. Well done!

  • Absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite movies, period. Personally, my favorite part is when the one juror slams the switchblade into the desk. Just completely unexpected.

I still can't believe you aren't doing this professionally. Your acting is amazing, and you look so adorable in suits. ^^

  • Hah! Just checked out your blog...apparently you are now. Good luck!

  • search the arrivals

  • awesome dude. And this is one of my favorite movies.

  • Brandon.. this must be the 4th time i watch this...

It´s freaking amazing in my opinion... all of your reenactments are! you´re gonna hit gold anyday now! Good luck future star actor

  • Brilliance.

  • i don't understand english but it is very good in acting and i like to watch him :D

  • problem is people don't talk like that in real life. check out George C. Scott's rendition of this same scene

  • DUDE, absolutely brilliant

  • You're very good at acting, but I would like to see you create a character. The Reenactment are great.

  • best re-enactment ever...

  • Perfect except for the eyebrows.

  • I watched this movie in school and this scene was amazing and you did a great job at it!

  • i was just watching that movie. You are fucking beast. You imitated every darn bit of his gesture. Ur fucking cool.

  • I saw this movie awhile ago. Great movie, but wasn't the main character dressed as Batman?

  • I think you're thinking of Batman

  • omg that was soo good. you should seriously think of becoming an actor

  • He is an actor. He is starring in the next American Pie movie.

  • I am a great fan of this movie. Wonderful re-enactment. Terrific Lee J. Cobb. Great inflection! Excellent job Brandon. How about doing the scene from "True Romance" between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper? It's a classic!!!

  • this is my favourite
