@hersheyracer32 My graphics card has 1024 MB of dedicated video memory. Turn off shadows and reflections and that will help.

@hersheyracer32 You probably dont have a graphics card, or at least not a very powerful one. Laptop graphics cards cost more than tower cards do, and they cost more to install. My laptop with that 1gb grfx card was about $700. Do some research, but you can probably get a 512mb card for about $40 + installation costs.

Buy the game and use D3playerpicker and then install the whole mods and you won't have to play and cheat with the Demo

yeah every time and i downloaded the troubleshooter actually and it didnt work i did every thing u said i had to RE-DOWNLOAD NR2003 Demo i mean i have a really fast pc and after that it takes 5 minutes just to type after i deleted that soo really it doesnt work

@SuperToby84 There is no trouble shooter to download, I mean I listed some tips in the bottom of the description. Check to make sure that cup11s.dat is renamed to cup.dat. Try those points. If nothing works, I would back up your replays and car files, and reinstall the demo and try again. It's too hard to find the problem after that.

*Make sure you downloaded the "cup-physics" version. *In series folder, the mod MUST be in the "cup" folder. *The ".DAT" file must be renamed "cup.dat" *The car files must have a cup extension. e.g. "39_rNewman.cup.car". If the car files are not in cup format, you MUST use a car file converter. Renaming won't work.

 *Exit windows explorer.

These checks usually work. I hope they work for you!

@TNTMan93 we played nascar 2003 but we updated our game to nascar 2007. we are looking for a way to get the updated paint schemes AND tracks if they are possible. do you know if your video will work for 2007 cars?

@MegaDETROIT18 If you have the full game, don't install it this way. In NR2003 or NR2007, you can just put the whole mod folder in the series folder and switch between mods at the main menu.

NR2003 is so rare that it's a collectable now the game itself is around $139 you may as well download it Papyrus aren't even getting money for it anyway they lost their jobs when EA took over the Nascar license . I tried to actually buy a copy a few years ago I had no luck and I wasn't going to pay $139 for a game. You may want to check Amazon.com there's a few used copies for $50 if you do decide to download it the game is only 596mb

@Justiceguitar I see what you mean. Even though I could easily download the game, I would't feel good doing it illegally. This past week, I did just buy NR2003 on ebay for only $50! It's so fun! I think it's worth even $75. I probably would play NR2003 more than three new $50 PS3 games.

@IRPLischynski I don't think you can change the sound back unless you change the mod as well. You might be able to install a sound mod though.
