i was reading the other comments, and in reply... i'm a half cast filipino, born and bred in the UK and it is only recently that i have started to get in touch with my filipino side. Whoever said that the Philippines is culturally poor they are sadly mistaken cos the Philippines is one of the last countries to stay true to their culture. I have great respect to those who are filipinos and i am very proud to be at least half filipino.

i was reading the other comments, and in reply... i'm a half cast filipino, born and bred in the UK and it is only recently that i have started to get in touch with my filipino side. Whoever said that the Philippines is culturally poor they are sadly mistaken cos the Philippines is one of the last countries to stay true to their culture. I have great respect to those who are filipinos and i am very proud to be at least half filipino.

Yes you're correct that its lyrics, particularly in the second verse, contain statements like those, which is good. But I feel that the song as a whole does not hold responsible those who are destroying our country. And I feel if we're ever going to rise as a nation, there must be accountability. Or else the evil people will continue to plunder and murder away, no matter how patriotic we are as common people.

At 1:27 I love it how The Muslim women and the Catholic priest work together to put our Filipino flag up. Showing that we can get along. I'm sad that the problems over there. :(
