Ha..ha! You see, it's intimidated people like you who, when they see women in physical compatition, all you can think of is ....sex! Fact is, a good many women, when trained JUST AS WELL, and given THE RIGHT COACHING, are excellent! Fact is you take many well trained girls and put them up against a guy in their weight class, some of those gals will beat those guys! But it's not about gender! It's about the quality of training and degree of commitment one has towards the sport!!

Sorry, the only reason I can see a guy wanting to wrestle a girl, is not 'inclusion' lol, but just so they can get close to them. Dont try to make out that Im against girls wrestling in this sport, Im not, and they should. But I see mixed gender wrestling as pointless, and only serves to give people like you something to get off on. And yes, it is about gender. Men are more physically robust and stronger. Only a stupid die-hardened feminist would argue with that.

I was in the Marines and the point I was TRYING to make originally was that it's great to see girls and women get into so called male dominated sports! See, Sports ARE about inclusion! Despite what some may say, is about having fun! The problem with sports these days is that everything is sooooo darn serious! I dont know about you friend, but I hate this sexist attitude towards women who want to compete! It's wrong!

that is like saying all a girl would want to do when wrestling with a guy is jump their bones. i don't think most people are thinking about those things when they grapple. you are thinking about winning. my jiu-jitsu class has girls in it,so what? besides no guy is attracted to every girl. this implies all a girl has to do is rub up against a guy and he wants to jump her. that just isn't true.

Really - Its all about promotion of the sport. They want beach wrestling to do what beach volleyball did for volleyball. We have wrestling programs dropping everyday. We can use anything we can get to promote our sport. As far as mats go - We were wrestling way before mats. When there were two human beings - I'm sure they wrestled. What animal doesn't wrestle? You don't need mats to wrestle. You just need whatever your standing on. Thats a real wrestler isn't it.

Just medals last year for ours in Oklahoma - The same for the one in New York and Virginia. But we are trying to get sponsorships to do more this year!

Long Beach's sports are Swimming (Boys and Girls), Boy's Volleyball, and Girl's Softball. County champs and county contenders every year in these sports.
