Does anyone remember a cover of this classic by an Australian band called 'Frente'??????
Or did I dream it??I think they even appeared on Neighbours at one stage???In fact they may have been a back up band to The Beautiful South on their UK tour in the 90's???
For all y'all who are nostalgic about the 80's, yeah we had great music.....but we also had crazy old senile Reagan and Maggie Thatcher and AIDS and a Soviet Union that was still about to shoot a rocket up our asses. Yeah, not such a great time. Just sayin'.
Gays always ruin music... do you even realize the number of gay artists.... and why in the world would someone's sexuality matter if they make good music - unless you're a self-hating homosexual (as I suspect)
Most people in the 80's did not ever hear this, too gay for the general populace. Gays found it, so did Hispanics. I'm not either, just an aging white dude who loves New Order!
your right! you soy Hispanic. How did, or where did we find New Order. I just remember waking up one day in the 80's and there was a New Order cassette in my walkman!
guess it depends on where you lived. most dance clubs had them. we all liked them and none of my friends are gay. gays aren't the only ones that liked them, women always were at the clubs.we did like the metal bands and hair bands of the 80's to.
The 80's are making their comeback! Top fashion designer Michael Kors played this and other New Order songs during his Fall-Winter 2009 fashion show at NY Fashionweek. Not to mention strong shapes, and neon colors were a very strong trend at NY Fashionweek all around.
Frente's cover was excellent but yes it was obviously a cover. Not as good as this original but they did a great job because they brought something new to the table.
I'll never forget about this song, I was very young when I first heard this, what I listen to from then and now has changed so much but I still love this song.
I have always loved this song! I have it on my Ipod, the extended dance remix, and I never get tired of listening to it....and I've been listening to this song since it came out! haha!
brings back so much memories. I miss the eights, even though I was like 8 or 9 years old. Hearing these types of songs brings me back to my childhood. Playing with my friends at the park, having summertime from school. Didn't have to worry about bills and other responsibilities. Just a kid playing after elementary school.
there's just something about this song that even if i'm in the worst of moods, i can listen to this and it always cheers me up!!
and the memories of dancing to this in the clubs in the 80's makes me smile and remember how much fun this song was to dance to. well, it still is actually :)
One of the best songs EVA from the 80's, and there were nothin but great songs during that era!!!! FUCK BRITTANY SPEARS, OOPS THAT BITCH CAN'T CARRY A FUCKIN NOTE! DSGB-216

Love the made-up clip from the fake movie which must be, of course, "Bizarre Love Triangle."
Whenever I get this way I just don't know what to say ... Why can't we be ourselves like we were yesterday?' I am fortunate enough to have experienced this song as a teenager, but it is only too ironic that it is only truly relavent and meaningful to me today. Ah, youth really is wasted on the young:)
but i dont really get the film and the bug bunny part i mean i dont blame her not wanting 2 come bak as a cartoon bunny but look 2 me like a guy went on the web and thought we can hav abit of this and that there :P
really though this is confusing... i'll try to translate: "i hate my sons music most of the artists he listens to can't sing. i love my music, back then the instruments were played by hand and the artists can sing. yes i am dad..."

Believe that a person "back as an animal" is a mistake of Buddhism and Hinduism. And has a name: transmigration or metempsychosis.
Back an animal would "walk back" according the evolution of spirits.
The true doctrine of reincarnation is that of Allan Kardec. And Christian is.
