A huge part of soviet soldiers were Non-Russian. Belarusian, Ukrainian, Moldovian and so as Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian were fighting with Russian as a Red Army agains nazi Germany. Out of 22 000 000 soviets that died in WWII 4 000 000 were Belarusian, every fourth Belarusian died. (11 millions Russian died in WWII)
