  • It's an awesome piece of music and I wonder why they continue to ignore the 12" mix. The way the beats at the end go out of time with each other is genius and something I can't recall elsewhere. It made dancing to this track just incredible, inspiring, euphoric.

  • Plus Sons & Fascination for old timers like me - totally agree!

  • Plus Sons & Fascination for old timers like me - totally agree!

  • I saw them play this track live at Westonbirt Arboretum last night (17/06/11). Timeless

  • This album Celebration was the" Best Of "their first 3 albums-and it's great!

    (Don't bother buying the albums)

  • @iconicshrubbery I dont agree, I think Life in a Day and Empires and dance is one of their best works.. including New gold dream

  • They took the kraftwerk sound far beyond their contemporaries reaching a dance form of trance and rock when trance as we know doesn´t even existed.

  • A great pulsating dance beat and abstract lyrics.

It was a track intended for Empires and Dance but was rejected by Arista at the time, although they stuck it on Celebration complitation album after the band had split from them and signed with Virgin...

  • @mrcodhead67 This song is on Empires and dance.. Together with I Travel

  • Funeral music= Peaches en regalia by Frank Zappa. Nothing beat that one.

  • "We Can Live, I Can Live, Celebrate, Celebrate"

This is great stuff...their early days were days of creativity and experiment, of great sounds. The lost this energy somewhere along the way...NGD was their last great album.

  • "We can live, I can Live, Celebrate, Celebrate"...This is a masterpiece.

  • Ahhhhh.. dreams of youth. Don't make 'em like this any more ;p

  • height of new wave, always played at night clubs, superb

  • Why have I not commented on this yet? One of their best songs off "Empires and Dance". Sexy, slinky, and totally with that abstract, New Wave flavor.
