I also hate the random "you're tall" comments as if I already don't know. I use to work in retail and literally everyday I work at some point in my shift someone would comment on my height. When I was younger I hated being short, but later I realized being tall may cause problems, for example, my shower head is 5'10, the top of my bathroom mirror is 5'11 etc. One time I sat in the back seat of my friends car a Toyota Paseo and my head was hitting the cars ceiling and I'm only 5'7 I couldn't believe it.

Im 15 and slightly over 6'9". Being tall has its advantages, but its really a major inconvenience. Myself having an 18EEEE shoe have to pay nearly triple for shoes and have to search specially for shirts my size (6XL) If you are large proportionally, like me, it is terrible. I weight over 400lbs, and its done hell on my knees, having two surgeries. Do i wish to be taller? No. I wish I should have stopped around 6'5". you never know what its like until your in another persons shoes.

If you actually did research, people who are naturally tall (that being not a tumor or something) have the same life span as anyone else. As for us supposedly hanging around with people who are only tall, this is not true, but if it was, then perhaps we only favor the company of other tall people because we feel less out of place, like you would if you where the only short person in a group.

It all depends on your location. I'm 17 years old and 6'3 and people say I'm super tall and there's nobody taller than me just because I live in L.A. and tall people are rare around here, where in other palaces my height is common.

im 6'7" and being tall is much better than being short. i really don't care what other think of me. but being tall allows me to have a nice view over people in a crowd. plus i can dunk.

It all depends on your location. I'm 17 years old and 6'3 and people say I'm super tall and there's nobody taller than me just because I live in L.A. and tall people are rare around here, where in other palaces my height is common.

wow, i feel the same. I don't get how people think it's mean to say "O my gosh, your really short" to someone yet it isnt when some one says "O my gosh, you're so tall"
and people say, you should try out for basket ball, i hate it. even though i am not the tallest person in the world, in every school i have been to i am the tallest in the grade, not class, grade.
I am female- 5'9- and 12 yr. in 7th grade.
