damn it dude i did have a heart attack. my window stickers say my 09 g6 gt is "98%" american. the country of origin for the trans, motor, and just about other other drive component is listed as "U.S" maybe my door seals are foreign? idk. as far im concerned, domestics will always be domestics. and hell yeah, im gonna drive it for a loooooonnnng time,

U had ur peugeot and renault's and other companies try to stake their claims here and they failed, because the cars were shit. they fell apart. but not all did. The G6 is a nice car, but the question is if they will last? In ten years, you see where basically a down payment on house went. If it makes it there. I have a 95 chrysler. running strong. just not a clear cut answer
I agree... maybe GM would be doing better if they had a clue what the US market wanted. Then they wouldnt have to rip off from Austrailia and Japan. I like the fact that i can take this to toyata for work if it ever needs it...but it wont. Its a toyota..
