this is very nice to know. david2000000 do you think that i could use this on a akhal teke or is it to hard. she is very sensitive around the muzzel. she uses a snaffle bit now and she sometimes does not stop easily though. u are a great horseman so i wanted your opinion. (by the way you have a wery pretty horse. is she/he part or full bred qh?)
@busterdoghorselover Well the horse is a Peruvain paso... I cant give you a honest answer with out seeing the horse.. But you can try and if you want put Vasilne along the side where it is touching the horse..
Well good person I know how but if a been doesnt and they want to try I will not show them a way and get the horse raw . So you have to show things for the average. peson can do it..
David, I would like to say, your are reaching out to a lot of people that love horses and want to learn more about them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us..
Friend brought be a bosal from a trip to Mexico. Planning to try it on a young horse I will be starting next year. (Irish Sport Horse) No mecate, but I can improvise with some rope. Did you mouth and ride that horse on a snaffle first? Is that the usual progression?
Nice job, David. Thanks for putting this together. Someone on a forum was asking about trying their horse on a bosal and it's hard to write out what should be visualized. I'm passing this on to her :)

David,
Thanks for putting this together. The explanation of the rein length was very useful. Don't let the editing process get you frustrated!!!
