  • These arnt that bad for soot!if you turn it up full blast yes but keep it low and theyre good,anyway a little soot wont harm you.

    I absolutely love it. I keep paraffin oil and kerosene for lamps and an emergency heater. This will fit right into my emergency preps.

  • The shit could well hit the fan!! earlier this year that volcano downed air traffic,that toxic flood in hungary,it could happen,imagine an earthquake that cracks the m6 open!just a couple of inches,the shops would empty in a couple of hours,ive started getting a food stash going,tins of tuna,ham,beans,rice, powdered milk etc.ppppp

  • I love these old paraffin burners,you see them on ebay fetching good money,ive got six old primus stoves,ones 80 years old and i cook on it,(i have got a kitchen)!but i have a bacon sandwich on it int shed now and again,great.

  • just got back from hunting today ( canada ) and used my favorite cooking set up , a simple kelly kettle you should look into them
