I thought Bagua was "internal" style, aren't all those big movements for begining external training, not application?.

@YIQUANONE The term internal or external has been used too often to get people to believe there is some mysterious power or Qi involved in these so called "inner systems" or Nei Jia. This was a demo to show how the Hawk Catch Sparrow method works you might compare the big moves here to first learning to print with big block letters and then graduating to cursive where the moves are much smaller.

so that move is just of the the switching part of bagua hmm all i know is how to switch side when im circle walking...my teacher wants me to circle walk for a year before i learn anything else, well nice vid man dig it a lot ima try some thing i think off coming of this move you showed thank you. check out my vids their kung fu too

Hell why throw him away? He is completely open to a punch or "Bearpaw" slap to the back of the head, remember HE attacked YOU, dont be thinking "well I don't want to seriously hurt him" kick his ass and then some if needed.

@joshua61991 The point here is to show the action of the specific tactic called Hawk Catching Sparrow many, many other tactics can be used after the beginning of this move so any of your suggestions may work. The point is how to do this technique first then follow up.
