Yes one guy was running what ammounted to a supercharger. He was running a leaf blower into his air box.

I have also seen a kart that has a true belt driven charger on it but he broke in a heat race and could not make the feature.

These karts only have two major rules. 1. It must be semi-safe. 2. You have a weight per displacement of the motor. They are running a nitro mix fuel and superchargers to get all the power out of the motor

They don't run superchargers, more than half of these run a Parilla Sudam 125, with a dual carb. And maybe dual KT 100's, a Tecumseh STAR, K-30 Komet rotary valve, And such other motors.
