Quinn's angry tone and tendency to constantly raise his voice and interrupt Dawkins only shows how fearful and unsure of his position he really is. Rational discuscions can only be had by those who are not so emotionally invested in their own point of view, that they can't even let the other person finish a sentence. He speaks out of fear and insecurity, pure and simple.

Bruce Willis told both his daughters that they have the alcoholism gene from both sides, to they should beware of alcohol. They can stay sober for the rest of their lives if they really want to. That's my point. Richard Dawkins himself says we can "override" our "selfish genes" and create a real civilization. I hope that happens someday.

God created matter and theology may be able to answer it? This is simply sad. In 21st century after over 2000 years, during which one would think religion would look and find, clear and definite evidance of god, it still can't provide any proof. After all it is hard to prove something which is not there. God is an unfalsifiable hypotisis. As for theology, how can a study of nothing be able to answer anything?

I think that it would be great to hand out a list of logical fallacies before the discussion with examples of why they are not valid arguments and save us all a lot of time.
