Kaiserslautern Time Lapse Drive

I was stationed in Kaiserslautern June 64 - Aug 66 in 3rd Armored Cavalry at Vogelweh barracks. Neat seeing Pariser Strasse in the video as that was the road from the base to Ktown. Jumped on the bus unless I had swiped a jeep from the motor pool. My first concert ever was the Kinks at the Fruchthalle in 1965.

Germany was ok but I wouldn't go back. Mainland Japan has always been my home away from home along with the rest of Asia. Some spots in Europe are too much like America for my taste. Hope you had fun though.

I lived in K-Town in 1987 and 1988. This brought back good memories. I saw the Massa where I used to buy my beer in bulk, and a pizza place that used to be the pizza hut. I wonder if the phone number is still 063173011?

@snowballjohnson 81-86 . the kasern [ Kleber ] I was on was near the cemetery , the wagonwheel restaraunt & the Capri Club . The Kasierslautern Army Depot was just up the hill from us . I & some others transported a lot of the stuff in the new NCO club on Daenner (?) Kasern when they had first built it . Where were you stationed & what unit ?

@1959hogryder I was just stationed on Kleber from 08 to September 2010. I'm actually going back for a month trip next month. I heard that the Wagon Wheel restaurant used to be a hang out...but there's nothing there anymore. They still deliver pizza, but it's not a hang out. Also, there's no more bars or NCO clubs or anything on Daenner or Kleber. Just the barracks and the units. hahah

bist so ziemlich meine lieblingsstraßen in KL abgefahren, die ich auch gerne abfahre.

ich werd mir demnächst ma das utnere ende von der "unnamed road nice place.." anschauen...wo die da oben is..versteh ich ja..nur wo die unten rauskommt geht mir net ganz in den kopp bzw ich wusste net dass es da eine verbidnugn gibt/gab.

leider is durch das beschleunigen in der dunkelheit die quali net so dolle.
