2 cosas, creo que el cielo está lleno de ángeles... descansen en paz todos ellos, y 2 ... podrías pasarme de alguna manera la secuencia de My Immortal? muchas gracias!
according to all i've seen, the family of 5 (parents and three young children) were all murdered (shot i believe) and then dumped in a river. their bodies were found and for some reason the sheriff/police dressed them and took that photo. an enormous tragedy.
The photo that begins at 8:28 is one of the most creepy things I have ever seen, and it gave me kind of a sick feeling... In my opinion, doing a picture like that is extremely wrong, I still can't figure out who the dead one is in the picture, I assume the one on the left. Either way, I feel sick, this couple obviously had a lot of money to do this back in this time, so it disturbs me to think of why they would want a picture like this.. ew.
I'm curious about the whole family that is dead,a couple and 3 children. It had to been hard to line them all up and move them in place, especially the adults, how sad.each time u look at the pics u wd remember all u had LOST!
very well done. So sad that for so many these post mortem photos would be the only ones they would have of their loved ones. The grief on the faces of the survivors is palpable. again, beautiful, tastefully done-thank you
the reason why you see so many dead children is because in this time.. (1800's) people were putting fromeldahide ( sorry if I spelt that wrong) in the milk that the children would always drink. they put it in there hoping to preserve it more...when really fromeldahide is what people use to preserve dead bodies. it's sad.
It is so strange, all of the people have been dead for such a very long time, all the poor little children, the beautiful ladies lying in a bed of lfowers, you want to know, "how did they die", it's driving me crazy !!!!
In movies and such, the first thing someone does when a person dies is close their eyes. Why do these people still have their eyes open? The RESPECTFUL thing to do is close their eyes, to give them rest and peace. And who was dead in 3:45? At any rate, I guess I can't understand why anyone would want to remember their baby dead? As a mother, I would try NOT to relive such a thing.
@LadyLotus74 Back in those days it was spendy to just take pictures when ever u please as we do today..taking a picture like this was the only pic they had to remember there child..back then they didn't have cures for childhood sickness like we do today like simple shots for chicken pox..and as for there eyes..they were closed..it's painted on after the pic was taken..that was up to the parents if they wanted it that way or not
@Midnightryder7 'm so amazed that the eyes look so real. I thought if they were painted on it would seem artificial. That's very interesting. Thank you for your comment. :-)
@LadyLotus74 Not a Probblem sweety..You know if u do some research of your own family tree..as u venture back to the 1800's..Your chances of finding pics like these.(post Mortem)..are very likely..Only thing that kinda gets me..one would think these pics would stay in the family and passed down for generations to come..but as i was told..sometimes they have estate sales and these pics could of been in an attic..and now out in the public to see..guess it's good education for all of us!
@Midnightryder7 Yes, it seems very tragic that these items could be displaced and shuffled aside, forgotten. But you're right, these videos teach us much of the past, and it's a good thing that they haven't been forgotten altogether.
@Midnightryder7 My Grandmother(whom herself passed away this morning)had a pic of her mother's Aunt with her daughter that died of 12 of a throat infection. It's actually a very beautiful pic and if you did not know you would have thought the girl was posing for that pic. I believe it was taken around 1909
pues bien espero y se den cuenta que estas son representaciones de una epoca con costumbres diferentes y bajo el contexto victoriano eso era noraml pues la taza de mortandad era casi como a de natalidad , okssssss comando eolo
In the frame 7:34, This looks like this family might of been murdered or died in an earthquake or even a horse & carriage accident. also in 7:46, which woman is dead here??

The posing of the dead to look like they are alive is very disturbing to me! It makes me wonder WHY would they do that?? :-(
