why call him a firefighter??? I mean, of course he is an FD EMS, so yeah he has fire trainging, but this video was EMS related, I don't get why you can't just call himan EMT or PAramedic or whatever. You know, people in EMS have way more trainging than just "firefighter"
for one, that isn't true everywhere. In a lot of places, firefighters are certifed CFR's just like police. But my point was, you don't know if he is a firefighter, an EMT, or even a paramedic.
Now that I watch this video again, this man was working as a firefighter, but the man who came in 0:34 was an EMS worker.

Its not just the fact of a Firefighter bring a cat back to life. But look at it in the owners poing of view. The owner of the cat has possibly just lost his home, contents, etc. and he is sitting there looking at he feline compainion dead. That fireman give him something back even though the house maybe gone his buddy is saved. Good work.

why call him a firefighter??? I mean, of course he is an FD EMS, so yeah he has fire trainging, but this video was EMS related, I don't get why you can't just call himan EMT or PAramedic or whatever. You know, people in EMS have way more trainging than just "firefighter"

for one, that isn't true everywhere. In a lot of places, firefighters are certifed CFR's just like police. But my point was, you don't know if he is a firefighter, an EMT, or even a paramedic.
Now that I watch this video again, this man was working as a firefighter, but the man who came in 0:34 was an EMS worker.

Its not just the fact of a Firefighter bring a cat back to life. But look at it in the owners poing of view. The owner of the cat has possibly just lost his home, contents, etc. and he is sitting there looking at he feline compainion dead. That fireman give him something back even though the house maybe gone his buddy is saved. Good work.

Fireman Al Machado rescued a cat from a burning apartment and that's when he noticed the kitty couldn't breathe and needed air.
Machado then began to perform mouth-to-mouth on the cat as he was carrying it outside.
The cat, a tiger angora, thankfully survived the fire, however two other cats died.
Luckily no humans were hurt during the blaze.
Two dogs were also saved with the help of oxygen from the paramedics and animal rescue personnel.

Awesome. Only thing I am worried about is, when I took a CPR course, this was a while ago, they told me to only give a tiny puff of breath to a baby, so how much less would you have to give a cat, and would it be possible?
