quake 5 (a.k.a "Quake Zero") is supposed to be an online multiplayer type game and supposed to be the sequal to quake 3

No, Quake 4 isn't a sequel of Quake 2, Q4 plays aufter Q2, where the player battled through the Strogg's forces to kill the Makron, the leader of the Strogg. The invasion on Stroggos of Q2 ended because of 'The big Cannon' which was destroyed in the end of Q2. The invasion in Q4 is the second one after the destruction of the orbital cannon.

The trailer was good, I'm glad you put on the Stroggification part ;), but it sucks that you let out the elevator sequence with that jetpack boss, to me that was the best part in the game.

The last part seemed more like you were letting us watch you play, not like a trailer.

i would say q4, because you can drive vehicles (in some levels) and there is more action in it.

if you like to have a good horror game which is dark and cool, d3 is better ^^

I have to say Doom 3, by little. I just feel better fighting in doom 3. The shotgun, to me is my favorite weapon in both games, but, while in Doom 3 it was your main weapon, in Quake 4 I barely used it. There are few times where you can use it properly in Quake 4.

Besides that, Doom 3 is easier to get into, because of the PDAs and stuff.

And also, the final levels of quake 4 take place in a huge hi-tech tower, while Doom 3 takes place in HELL! Fucking HELL! What more can you ask!?

Quake 4 is a great game. A lot of people don't like it, but it's one of my favorite FPSs. The story had some potential, but unfortunately not a lot was done with it.
