6:07 middle of screen, as your moving cam, it happens fast, hard to
catch but looks like one has it's right arm out, left arm leaning on something, right leg bent, sitting in a relaxed position, it looks black /grey in color, sitting under a tree branch that's leaning right or to the right of the two large trees to the left of screen, this could only be, a trick of light? blobsquatch? or shadows? but I feel its worth checking out, I could be wrong.
Take into consideration the winter snow levels in any area where you are researching tree damage above head level. What appears to be high after the snow melts is a totally different story after a couple of snow storms, especially when you consider that snow banks against trees. You maybe looking at winter browsing levels especially when you consider that deer can rear up to reach availabe food.
@allenst Yea' I see that too' but I don't know if I'd call that a face. I'll will say even though I'm watching this at home on a small computer screen' you get this feeling like there's something behind those trees watching the camera man
with the bears in there, i think that is a good area. i also think i saw movement and eye shine on the hillside. from now on i will be looking up higher in the trees for breaks. great video scott.
I really like the trail cam shots, keep them coming. I have areas that I go into that make me feel the same way. Like ya said, you feel you're being watch and your hair stands up. Beautiful area, nice and dense with all that laurel. I second Joe2trees request, film some large trees you come across. I ussually do ashot of the trunk and scan up the tree.
Very interesting Scott. Being that you are in a park are you allowed bear spray ? Those laurels are nice. Are those feral pigs or the european wild boars ? I know tennesee has them. Good luck out there. You are in a great area not only for BF but for all kinds of trees and wildlife. If you come across some really large trees could you film them ?
Yes, spray is allowed, the boar are european released for hunging at the turn of the Century before the park was created, now they are a huge problem, but good food for larger predators and BF, I will post some large trees for you.
@joebblack1963 Yes I bet the boars would be easy pickings for a BF. There are many accounts of domestic ones hauled off in the night. They dont run all that fast at least not as fast as a deer.
Oh my Gosh! I think you've got something there? (In the foreground where you zooming up the ridge, it looks to me like I can make out eyes reflections. Great video, and take care...
I never thought that broken branches will be so indteresting thing, but it wasn't
