In fact, the slaves you speak of were not held by God's followers, but WERE God's followers. They were persecuted and imprisoned by those who did not believe, and God set them free. A warden brings in two fully grown people with the minds of young children. He tells them not to eat from the apple tree in the Garden he planted. A convict tells them that the fruit will make them stronger than the warden. After they eat the fruit, they can see what is going on around them as right and wrong.

And ensueing shortly after he throws them out of the safer part of the prison to the other part filled with felons. Does this Warden seem Good to you? What about knowing that he threw the convict in there with them, knowing he'd influence them to do a crime. Does he seem good?
Did you also not notice that the people who were put into slavery by OTHER PEOPLE were often freed by God? Think about the Israelites and Egypt. God created the world out of love. He gave us free will so that we are not blindly subservient. The Devil has free will and chose to commit evil. When Adam and Eve were created they were pure, but had free will, and they fell into sin by choosing to disobey God. We sinned despite His warning.

Oookkkkaaay, let me try to explain this AGAIN. GOD DID NOT CREATE SIN. He is the exact opposite of sin. And yes, Jesus died for us in a most terrible way, but He CHOSE to do it out of love for us. Have you ever heard of unconditional love? If a loved one would be killed and tortured for eternity and you dying briefly instead was the only way to save them, what would you do? We sinned so much, doing things like slavery, torture, and murder, that only Jesus could save us from hell.

And the thing is that unconditional love seems to have one flaw when you choose Death and forgiveness through faith, over Forgiveness no matter what. There is no mercy in God's actions when he tells his followers to obey unjust laws in the old testement, and yet refuses to stop people from getting his message confused. Satan introduced sin to Adam and Eve to corrupt the purity that God created, and humanity decided to rebel too. Did you know that God had to look away from Jesus when He took on the sins of the world as the ultimate sacrifice because sin so repulses Him? Jesus died so we might reunite with God. He gave us a second chance out of Love.

They ate fruit of knowledge of good and evil. From this, we can gather that they lacked the knowledge of good and evil in the first place, and had no concept of such. And God has plenty of instances in the bible as doing horrible things, so he's no scapegoat.

@mrstevehartman . Eden was more the inevitable conclusion rather than a setup. Our God is a God of Love, we can not love without choosing to love therefore we are given free will. As for Jesus He was the Lamb that was slaughtered in sacrifice for our sins. He is the arm of God, the pysical element of God and by accepting punishment for our sins he is able to say to the Father 'have pity on this person, they have loved me, I have paid the price of their sins, forgive them.

God took that 1/3 of Himself and put it into the body of a man so that He could come to earth because if He were to come as Spirit (which He is, remember God is spirit) in all His glory and He were to let us see Him while we are still in our human bodies, His glory would overwhelm us and, quite frankly, we'd die! Break it into equal thirds so that no one piece is greater than the other. One piece is the Father. The other is Jesus (the Father's earthly form)...

I use to be skeptical until I fully experienced the love JESUS and the FATHER have for us along with the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT. I'm from Greece and every year at the week leading to Easter many series of the life of Jesus are on TV. In my family (and all Greece really) we chose that the best one is Jesus of Nazareth which I grew up watching. He played the most amazing Jesus. For the last 20 years and every year I watch him play Jesus and I get the same warmth and amazement for the story of the life of Jesus. I serve a God who heals cancer. He has done it many times. I serve a God who STILL raises the dead, gives sight to the blind, raises the lame, saves the soul, breaks addictions, gives financial blessings, mends hearts. He is real my friend. I know that some may not like the thought of Jesus, but He is more of a friend than many of us even realize. A warden brings in two fully grown people with the minds of young children. He tells them not to eat from the apple tree in the Garden he planted. A convict tells them that the fruit will make them stronger than the warden. After they eat the fruit, they can see what is going on around them as right and wrong.

Did you also not notice that the people who were put into slavery by OTHER PEOPLE were often freed by God? Think about the Israelites and Egypt. The only reason they didnt get to Canaan sooner is because they YET AGAIN DISOBEYED GOD. That is why life is so corrupt. Because we keep choosing to do the wrong thing. God does not force us, but He does try to guide us to making the right decisions. But it is up to us to listen. When we do bad things, like in Russia, we are the ones at fault. NOT GOD.

Oookkkkaaay, let me try to explain this AGAIN. GOD DID NOT CREATE SIN. He is the exact opposite of sin. And yes, Jesus died for us in a most terrible way, but He CHOSE to do it out of love for us. Have you ever heard of unconditional love? If a loved one would be killed and tortured for eternity and you dying briefly instead was the only way to save them, what would you do? We sinned so much, doing things like slavery, torture, and murder, that only Jesus could save us from hell.

There is no mercy in God's actions when he tells his followers to obey unjust laws in the old testement, and yet refuses to stop people from getting his message confused. They ate fruit of knowledge of good and evil. From this, we can gather that they lacked the knowledge of good and evil in the first place, and had no concept of such. Yet God, who was omnipotent, saw everything happening and allowed it. So let's recap: God created two humans without morality, and doubtfully with any knowledge of anything much like a newborn. And a snake influenced a newly created woman to eat a fruit to give them morality.

Even satan was allowed to participate and help persuede A&E. Were all guilty by association ! @mrstevehartman . Eden was more the inevitable conclusion rather than a setup. Our God is a God of Love, we can not love without choosing to love therefore we are given free will. As for Jesus He was the Lamb that was slaughtered in sacrifice for our sins. He is the arm of God, the pysical element of God and by accepting punishment for our sins he is able to say to the Father 'have pity on this person, they have loved me, I have paid the price of their sins, forgive them.

If we do have an inevitable conclusion here, its only becouse God planned it that way. Personally tho, thru Christs own statements, I believe Christ was exactly who he claimed to be... the SON of GOD and the SON of MAN. God humbled his glorious, Holy self by taking on the form of man and coming down to earth. That's why the crucifixion is so major. Instead of punishing men for their sins (because one of God's attributes is justice and the only way for that to be true would be for Him to administer justice through punishment to those who deserve it--which is EVERY HUMAN since we've all sinned) God instead poured out His own wrath and punishment on Himself (Jesus!)

I use to be skeptical until I fully experienced the love JESUS and the FATHER have for us along with the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT. You will never know until you take that step of faith and SINCERELY ask JESUS to forgive you and accept him as your LORD and SAVIOR. This video was played at my church on the Sunday before Easter. I go to one of those big Mega churches and our services hold around 3,000. Every person there was visibly moved, and I personally had tears streaming down my face. Thank you so much for making this video as a visual to the person our Jesus really was. I'm from Greece and every year at the week leading to Easter many series of the life of Jesus are on TV. In my family (and all Greece really) we chose that the best one is Jesus of Nazareth which I grew up watching. He played the most amazing Jesus. For the last 20 years and every year I watch him play Jesus and I get the same warmth and amazement for the story of the life of Jesus. It is because of Robert that this film will always remain the best account of the story of Jesus.

As I went through life I got disenchanted with every thing that I had been taught about Jesus. This is because as a child we are inocent and feel close to God and as we grow up we feel more independant.
