I love Joanna Newsom. haha. I used to have a thing against Pitchfork because of some ridiculous reviews but most of the time, they're spot-on.

These fine gentlemen completely missed the point of Pitchfork. Artists are rated on three things: obscurity, pretentiousness, and how much they sound like Radiohead.The quality of the music and the skill of the artist in question DOES NOT factor into the review process at all, and in fact points can be taken away for this. Points are also taken away for "selling out" by being heard on a commercial, having albums available at stores, or being featured on NPR.
