I was interested in you GB 2-chimes clock. I have not unlike it also by GB and has a gorgeous Whittington chime - the German version of course. I am happy to share with you anything you might need to know, if I can. I know of one other on the Net that I think a young boy has who has a website and who has some wonderful clocks of different types. GC
@glisses7 My GB Dual Chime clock plays the regular version of Whittington. My friend Steve in the UK has one, and my friend Chris in the UK also has 2 (one with German Whittington, and one with Regular Whittington).
If you go to my profile page, there's a link to my clock collection website, where you can see good quality photos of most of my clocks (they have not all been added yet). The website also has sound clips.
I've stopped counting them. I have over 75, but many are awaiting restoration, and I have quite a few that are just loose movements. I have about 35 clocks that I keep running/chiming 24/7.
Your favorite clock is actually called an empire clock. and it's worth alot of money. They are rare. I am a collector and my brother works on them for me.
I'm aware. This one is by Birge & Fuller, and it was made between 1845-1847 (the date is narrowed down by the address of the printer on the label). The clock was really badly smashed to pieces in shipping. You can hardly tell it was repaired. Took me about 2 years of work on/off.

Trinity chime clock sounds great.
What does the GB two chime clock sound like?
Nice video.

I haven't got it fully working yet. It needs 2-3 new mainspring barrels. It sounds a lot like an average Westminster and Whittington.
