  • why wont my freaking action go back in?? ive depressed both the metal things

  • I couldn't figure out how to get the action back together. After I turned my thumbnail purple I turned to YouTube. Thanks man!

  • @GunWebsites Are you sure that'll fix the problem? I already tried that.

  • Please help!! Sometimes when I load the shotgun, sometimes the spring gets stuck I the tube and won't let me continue to load?

  • @daniel43311

    clean it

  • nice to see the remington shotgun assemble step by step.

  • Nice mods!

  • por favor contenten gracias =D

  • vale es Remington 870 es exprés o táctico o EXPRESS Synthetic 18"

  • I'm guessing that mesa side carrier stays put pretty well even without loctite?

  • Some country's would you Americans are gun happy when ya watch stuff like that but to me maintainence of a weapon is a safety issue more so than a pride issue... ( I know you where using a soft face hammer but maybe a bit rough putting them pins in? Correct me if I'm wrong we don't have pumps in Australia)

  • @theshauny So he has pride issues because he used a soft faced hammer in order to not damage his shotgun?

  • @wafflecushioned nah im saying it he seemed a bit rough belting the pins in, gun maintance is a saftey thing and good too see

  • As a Marine I was cringing watching him put those pins in.

  • Ah, so "KiloSix4" = the person I call "Lefty".. Gotcha.

  • just got an 870 myself , put a pistol grip on mine. love this shotgun.

  • did the mesa tact come with the hardware???

  • Thanks for this! This video helped me figure out why my shotgun wasn't going back together correctly. The mag extension and barrel came practically bolted together from the factory, and it was nearly impossible to screw it back on. Once I broke it loose, it was no prob. Thanks again for a good video!

  • what's the name of those pliers you are using to tight up the extension? is it rubber?

  • do you really need a hammer to tap those pins in?

  • just got one for christmas

  • @Birdietweet Me too! All the Christmas cash got me just enough to get one! Best. Gift. Ever!

  • @bgroberts27 I just got one with my graduation money hahaha

  • tacome1942 made this shotgun out of paper and it can really shoot

  • is that the shotgun that Anton Chigurh uses in the movie NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN ?

  • @holkenberg1 no that was a semi automatic probably a Remington 1100, with a custom made silencer

  • he bump on the rear assembly pin is it a sling attachment point?

  • great video. i used it to put my 870 back together. found it extremely useful. especially cause remington's owner's manual doesn't help with mag extensions.

  • very nice!!!

  • this video isnt even bad. its pretty easy to follow. its not even labeled "how to", so the people flipping out about it not being a good how to video are getting pissed over nothing. great vid. i found it fun to watch

  • @jarheed253

Thanks, we just wanted to show whats involved

  • @GunWebsites First minute and a half I was like WHAT is he doing with those pins?! Then I saw the side saddle and I was like OOOOh. This seems a lot easier than taking down a Mossberg 500, Mossberg has like10 small parts to deal with.

Any chance you could do a disassembly/reassembly video for the Winchester (and Norinco if it's different!) 1897?

  • I bought an NEF PARDNER 12 Ga. pump. Its a Clone of the Rem.870. It has an 18.5 barrel and will hold 5 rounds NOW. Where can I get a Mag Tube Extension for an 18.5 barrel? What will it hold then ,I guess TWO more rounds because of the barrel length, for a total of 7.

    Nice video thanks

  • what size barrel is this? and what was the mag extension on it?

  • Do you have a vid of taking it apart?

  • Maybe you should get a BIGGER hammer goofball... Don't try and drive unlubed pin lol... what a goof...

  • I have the 870 Marine Magnum. Very nice shotgun..

  • @ justin27mcintyre

Then you won't like most of our videos, see you later

  • I have modified 870 tactical express. It's completely decked out, mostly with Mesa Tactical accessories. But it's the function of the gun that worries me. For some reason it won't chamber a round from the magazine tube! I can rack it and rack it and rack it and nothing! Any advice besides the obvious of taking it to a Gunsmitty?

  • can you remove shells from the mag tube by pushing the shell stop out of the way and the elevator up?

  • No, and I didn't modify anything pertaining to the function of the weapon.

  • I will post a video shortly showing you what I want you to try to do, as it sounds like a shell stop might be bent.

  • Thanks, that is appreciated.

  • I am actually working on the video now, i got busy with work so it should be up tonight or tommorow night

  • this is why my gun shop recommended to add a light ONLY, all other mods are not necessary for home defense, which is my POU. Not even a pistol grip, he said that factory settings are perfect the way it is.

  • Nothing involving the function of the gun was modified. And this problem was occuring off and on before the modifications, more frequently as of now. But I understand what you mean.

  • Are you left handed?

  • he is

  • I have a 870 express tatical brand new. The ejection is not too good most of the time the spent shells would just fall out and i had one stovepipe jam. It's not bad if your just shooting at the range but when your deffending yourself I wouldn't trust my life with it. This is my first shotgun and I'm not real happy with remington...

  • I just got a new 870 Tactical this past summer. I have had 1 or 2 issues with ejection, mainly from me not pulling the pump all the way on my first day shooting. I since have had no problems and put over a hundred rounds in it last week with out a single problem.

  • 870 is best selling shotgun of all time for a reason.

  • best gun ive ever owned. worst how to video ive ever seen

  • do better

  • The best shotgun I've ever owned.

  • I LOVE THAT SONG!!!

  • what song?

  • good video love your workshop

  • thanks.. I'm trying to get them to do a video of their shop / tools

  • do you do there gun smithing?

  • they are armorers, I wouldn't call them gunsmiths

Armorer = Assemble, Disassemble, Preventive Maintenance, 90% of Repair Jobs

Gunsmith = all that, and 100% of repair jobs, Machines to make / repair parts, engraving, painting / finishes, etc

  • good vid, not to fast and no too slow... just right

it wasn't a race, it was a demonstration. good vid.

  • I can usually assemble it in about a 1/3 of the time but I did it slower for the video. The Mesa Tactical trigger pins slowed me down alot. The squared off ends don't like to go into the trigger group.

  • well arent you just the coolest kid on the block

  • What would you say makes the mesa side saddle a better choose than a tacstar

  • I've seen ALOT of broken Tacstars and have broken a few myself. The Mesa Tactical Side-Saddle is heavier and it costs more but since it's aluminum, it won't crack and fall off like the plastic Tacstars. It's always there when I need it and I haven't lost a round out of it yet.

  • Thank you ive been thinking about getting one want to make sure its worth the money

  • nice shotgun...how much was it?

  • If you bought it all new, I'd say $750-800. Rem 870, Surefire forend, Vang Comp follower & safety, Hogue stock, Mesa Tactical Side Saddle & QD sling mount.

  • nice

  • "Pimp Shotgun"? Lolz..
