Some of the greatest black blues artists of all time named Elvis as one of their favorite blues singers. Including Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf.

By the way folks...Elvis is the only man in history inducted into four music Halls of Fame....Country, Rock, Gospel, Rockabilly.....but not the Blues Hall of Fame. However they did award him their highest honor...The W.C. Handy Award! How odd! Criteria for induction in a music hall of fame? "unquestionable excellence in the genre"
